You do the little touches so well -- the scene with Cadman and, presumably, her father's now-blown-up-car, the way you describe her chance at happiness; the way you get Teyla in five words or less, the one liners a fitting description of her without ever seeing her face; Rodney's want so subtly drawn, John's growing awareness. Cigarette pants.

You said before that this was self-indulgent and sometimes that means bad things. Not always. Not here. This is fantastic, twenty five snapshots of a family tattered together.
