* Why are there not more coming out fics in bandslash? I want to read about Spencer and Brendon's hugely public wedding! I want Pete to declare his love for Patrick, and I want everybody to say 'that's cool' and think nothing of it, and I want Pete to be pissed off that no one is burning their albums in effegy or whatever. I want Brendon to become a gay icon because he's publicly dating, um, Jared Padalacki (sp?) or someone equally pretty and famous, and I want Ryan to be SO JEALOUS. I want serious fics about this subject! I want cracky fics about this! Seriously, why are people not writing these? Please, if they're out there, point me to 'em, and by the by, this fic is wonderful and is what has sparked this burning need in me. Help.

Dude, I got paid today, and am blowing all my money in iTunes. Have you listened to the Vitamin String Quartet tribute to Panic? It's so good. I'm in love with it.

Aaaaaaaaah, there totally needs to be more fic like that! Fic like that one Justin/JC fic where JC's thinking about like, food, and blurts out he's gay on stage. Those kinds of fics should totally happen more often, and you should totally write them. *nodnod*

There's one almost like it, but I can't think of what it was called or who wrote it. I don't think they actually came out, but Pete was trying to stir up media trouble and it wasn't working and it was adorable. I wish I could remember.

*sighs* I really want that fic, too. Maybe it'll take my mind off college, because, dude, I am stressin' out about it. I really, really want to go to Sarah Lawrence, in NY, but my parents are flipping about the cost, and have me looking for liberal arts colleges with a lesser price tag. *laughs tiredly* Know any good ones in PA, or anywhere, for that matter?

College! Um, I don't know about good, but I went to WCU (http://www.wcupa.edu/) in PA, but that's mainly because I'm a freak and wanted to be close to home :) They've got a super awesome teachers program. I went in for English, which was also very cool. Mainly because they have their own type-set printing press called Aralia Press (http://www.wcupa.edu/_academics/sch_cas/aralia/) (and oh my god the pictures on that site are SO OLD because I'M in them and I graduated 7 years ago! You can't see my face very well but I'm wearing an ancient blue and brown flannel shirt - eek!), and they're home of the WCU Annual Poetry Conference (http://www.wcupa.edu/_ACADEMICS/sch_cas/poetry/), so if you're at all into poetry, it's awesome for that. I got to meet a lot of cool contemporary poets by volunteering each year.

*hums* That's really cool- I'll look into it, as I've seriously considered going into teaching, and if they've got a good program, it should be worthwhile to do a little research.

*tilts head* Just out of curiousity, you have a degree in English, but what exactly do you do as a job? I don't think you've ever really said.

*laughs* I have a BA in Lit and a minor in creative writing and I work on web sites. I tag documents for the web :) So I basically don't do anything with my degree besides fanfiction, I guess, but I get to work on a computer all day :)

That shirt was my favorite. It was my dad's and I stole it from him and it had holes in the cuffs, so I'd stick my thumbs through them. *sigh* I loved that shirt.
