This is the part where I embarrass myself and admit that I used to tell people I wanted to name my future child Gilbert for a boy or Blythe for a girl because I was so ridiculously in love with these books. Anne of the Island was always my favorite story and even though I knew Gilbert didn't die, I was always so upset for Anne when she found out he was sick and then realized that she loved him. All of this is to preface that I was ridiculoulsy predisposed to love this series, but I loved it even more than even I would have thought possible:)
I loved Brendon as Gilbert and Ryan as Anne and Gerard as Mathew--thank you for not killing him off by the way, I couldn't have handled that-- Mikey as Marilla, Jon and Spencer, Pete and Patrick, and now I'm just listing every character but honestly I loved them all. You did an excellent job of blending these two worlds and it was funny and sweet and just all around amazing.
