He makes Patrick to watch that old Star Trek episode with evil Spock, and some telenovelas, and maybe calls Gerard for research (because who else but a comic book fan would know so much about evil doubles?) :D And then he starts collecting "evidence"--like, Jon wearing actual close-toed shoes one day, and Brendon acting like a mature adult. And now I have a mental image of Patrick in a Sherlock Holmes hat, because Pete decides outfits were necessary to be Real Detectives. There are notebooks and binoculars and maybe even a noir-style voiceover. (...it is possible I've seen Humphrey Bogart detective movies?) And then he gets distracted by imagining real!Panic! in the cabin, all tied up and huddled together for warmth, and tangenting onto doppelganger sex and wondering where he could find a promiscuous double of Patrick... ;)
