Ohhh, my heart. This was so, so awesome; only you could take the worst badfic premise EVER and stick in a Mary Sue and every other badfic cliche under the sun and nearly make me cry. It. Ohhh. Spencer Smith, and then he had to pick and he couldn't, and his old best friend thought he was a jerk and then his other best friend was in Jersey, and I just wanted to cuddle him because this Spencer Smith was me in middle school and that was not a happy me, Skoose. Not at all.

I would copy and paste the things I loved, except I'm pretty sure you don't want the entire story in a comment. HOWEVER: Edie! Edie was amazing! She was the best-written OFC I have ever read, and she just fit. It was like she was Spencer's only kindred spirit or something initially, except for the part where he's Spencer Smith and everyone loves him. The contrast between Jersey and Vegas was very stark, very real. Making Spencer choose was necessary, but you did things to my heart that you can't undo, and ughhh. Is it clear yet how much I loved this?
