Okay, so I know you warned that this would be ridiculous and all, and I was prepared for silliness and fun. Which I found. I was not, however, prepared for pangs! in my heart! Because underneath all the wonderful ridiculousness (Siska! as a girl! William adopts orphans), there's Jon bringing home lost kittens orphans, and Siska being afraid Butcher doesn't want to be friends anymore, and Butcher not knowing how to deal with the fact that the girl he fell in love with is a boy. And as if that wasn't enough:

An actual smile, with none of the edges Gabriel’s had so much lately; the bored edges that give William nightmares.

Gabe and his need for adventure and William and his fear that he isn't enough!

My favorite stories are always ones that combine the comedy and the angst, that have seriousness underneath the ridiculousness. I am completely in love with this story, and I didn't want it to end, ever. <3
