I need to borrow the fork for some idiot that said some stuff about the layout of Sweet Tarts. He suggested I use older pictures. Pray tell, where ae these pictures exactly? I mean, it's hard finding redheads and pugnose people. Did you know that? I looked for a month for other people. I came up with nothing. *snarls* Apparently it's squicky. *sighs* I hate people that critcize and offer no suggestions.

I liked the layout of Sweet Tarts. Seriously, you're right, if he can't offer a viable solution, then he shouldn't be complaining *nods*

And he seemed nice enough after we started emailing back and forth. He's new to the pairing and didn't quite understand the pictures of either girl is next to nil, much less anyone else I could use as stand ins.

Oh, Skoosie...
I just wanted to tell you that I consider Stranded to be a classic. Actually, the printout of this fic of sheer genius and madness permanently resides on my coffee table (right beside the unabridged version of Gardner's Art Through the Ages). I keep it there in case I ever need a quick laugh. I have to tell you, I've read it about 50 times now, and I'm still laughing.
Now, my dad came over last night to bring me a pizza (God, I love him), and he said... "What's that?" And I said, "Oh, it's the funniest fanfic ever written. Wanna hear some?" He agreed to listen, even though he knows very little about the characters (he's only seen the first two movies and read none of the books, but I talk about it enough to give my parents a pretty good idea of what fandom is all about). So I read it to him. And he howled. My quiet, composed, lucid-dream-and-psychology-studying father cried with laughter. He especially liked the part where Malfoy is compared to Peter Pan. Even though he is so HP illiterate, he just shook his head and said, "You know, I've always wondered about that guy." (And of course, when I got to the campfire scene—"It didn't mean he was gay. Just rather... gayish."—I had to stop reading myself to wipe the tears from my eyes. That part always gets me.)
To make a long story short (too late), my dad told me to pass along his review:
He thinks you are just as funny as any good Monty Python movie, and he wants you to know that he thinks your description is so vivid that he could actually picture it in his mind. He thinks you are an excellent writer.
As do I. I'm friending you, because honestly, I do not want to miss out on any of the madness.
Tamlane :D

And I'm friending you too, because. wow.
