* castoffstarter is still whipping the Snow White AU into shape.

* In the meantime, it's entirely possible that I'm writing a Brendon coming out fic that involves weddings and babies and is slightly more serious than weddings and babies implies. Also, the bulk of it so far focuses on a friendship between Brendon and Patrick. Yeah, I have no idea.

He bumped his shoulder. “Got room for me in that shack of yours?”

Patrick slanted him a look. “You hiding from anyone in particular?”

He shrugged, picking at the cardboard sleeve on his cup. “Pete mentioned something and, you know,” he said vaguely, shrugging again, catching Patrick’s eyes, “I figured we could be miserable together for a little while.” He tried for another grin, but it didn’t quite make it past the corners of his mouth.

an anecdote, especially for you:
i went to get a haircut after work at the haircutting school place and, in the next row over, was a young woman who looked just like a girl version of brendon urie (i was going to say "your brendon urie person" but then i thought, "wow, that sounds odd." except really, you=my total exposure to patd, so.) she had the same haircut and the same face. except she was nothing like your characterization. and she was bleached blond. i came very close to asking the woman who was cutting off my hair if it was just me, or if her colleague person was really a dead ringer for a genderfucked au urie.

it was like falling through a wormhole into crackficland. i was all, "must remember to tell skoosiepants. this will make no sense to anyone else." except now i sort of want to c&p this as an actual post.
