the sad-making fact is that I missed Eureka last night :(
* I have another flat tire, my second one in a few months. I don't really understand, because I hardly ever drive my car. It doesn't make sense.
* Whatever. It's Wednesday. I have tomorrow to pack, and then I'm off to the great state of Georgia!
* Supersaturation the second - I really need to come up with an actual name for it - is turning out to be a rescue mission fic, sliding between scenes on the hive ship, scenes on Atlantis, and scenes of the actual rescue mission - led by MAJOR TORO, HI! Hiiiiiii, Major Toro! You have MILITARY THIGHS LET ME LICK THEM!
Also, FRANK. DO NOT BE ANGSTY LITTLE XENOBIOLOGIST FRANK! HERE, MAYBE RODNEY WILL SHARE HIS WHALES.
Dudes, you know I cannot resist the urge to tease you!

“Bob escaped that Genii prison,” Joe says. “He dug his way out of that underground bunker with his bare hands.”
“Joe,” Frank shakes his head, “Joe, you fucking exploded the shit of that place first.”
Joe blinks at him. “Oh. Oh, yeah, that was pretty cool, you’re right,” he says, but despite his words he seems mostly dejected, and Ray can relate. They all can, really, because Bob was really good at keeping them together, getting done what needed to be done, competent and focused and solid and always there.
They’re silent then, staring down at the commissary table. No one wants to think about Bob being gone, but it’s the kind of gaping hole that’s hard to ignore.

Eureka is so much fun. J's parents were over, so we couldn't watch it :(

I don't like Eureka much, sadly. But I tend to catch episodes randomly.

Buckhead. Where Phipps and Lenox Mall are. Where Lenox and Peachtree meet. Brookhaven, another neighborhood, is right before that. Buckhead goes to Midtown, which is right around the Fox. That seems to be a dividing line. Fox is on Ponce De Leon and Peachtree.
Midtown. I think it stops right past North Ave. Where the Midtown Mile is being built on Peachtree. Basically like huge high rises (why, we'll never know) for the mile stretch. Pretty nice area.
Downtown. From where Midtown ends until the end of Peachtree in city limits. Most noticeably, it's where the Ga. Dome, MLK Jr Blvd, Aquarium, and Turner Field are. Also, Grant Park, which is where the Atlanta Zoo is located, next to the Cyclorama. Not the nicest area, but it's going through some major renovations now. In about 5-10 years, it'll go the way of rehabbed. Grant Park, however, has been in that stage for about 15 years. It's got some beautiful old houses rehabbed. Like 1920 homes, and Victorians. It's a hit/miss area on the good parts but it's slowly changing.
There you go. The three main sectors off Peachtree. I didn't really discuss the other areas. Too many. Like Virginia-Highlands, where houses are about 700k, or Morningside, which is on the back half of Piedmont Park (god, Moose would LOVE that damn place). Huge green space. Morningside has even more expensive houses, and it butts up against Va-Highlands. There's also West End, which is around the end of Downtown, I believe, but I don't know that end. Not the safest area of areas.
