J had his surgery today! His arm is in a cast and he is in lots of pain, but it's done. I had to work from home until I had to take him in, and my remote desktop is slow as fuck. I was going to stab my brain. I can't figure out if it's my home computer or my work computer or the network. I don't think it's supposed to be that slow, but I didn't have the time to work through it with our tech guys today. So yeah, working at home: convenient, but thank god I don't do it all the time. Plus, the dogs were all over me. Cats, too.

I wrote a litte tiny Panic! thing, but I'm going to expand on it so I don't want to post anything yet. Oh my god, they are so cute. *pets them*

Also, random: Patrick is so tiny! I would tower over him! I could put him in my pocket. These = good reasons for us to marry and live in an enchanted land.

Shut up.

Full cast is on for two weeks, and then he gets it cut shorter. He got hardly any sleep last night and he downed so many pills - he's in agony! I wish I could help. He slept on the floor downstairs because he couldn't get his arm comfortable. I feel so bad, but then on the other hand, Roxy, Ellie and I got full rein of the bed, which is always nice.

Aw, man. Poor guy. He just wants to get comfy. He can't win to lose can he? Maybe they can give him more pain pills. Better ones, I mean, more powerful. I guess the floor was more level? *gently hugs him* Poor thing.

He totally claims the couch, and if we're up too late watching tv, he'll just sit there and stare at us, and then if we get up for a drink or something, he's right up in our place and we have to kick him off. He's sleepy! He wants to go to bed!

Glad J came through the surgery okay and is now on the mend.

I just discovered Panic! at Christmas - asked for their CD to go with my new ipod - and I adore them. I play the CD at full volume driving down the motorway on the way home from work each night...just me the road and the boys...I've even been known to slow down so I don't get home too soon!

Sadly I've no idea what they look like! The one pic of them on the CD cover is not very clear and obliterated in the middle by the CD holder!! Must take to the 'net and seek out their visage...
