Soundtrack? The Thoughts Of Youth Are Long, Long Thoughts

So I sat down a week or so ago and started playing around with a possible soundtrack to The Thoughts Of Youth, and it ended up being entirely about Pete, about the story I didn't write. I think it's kind of fitting, but that makes this not quite a proper soundtrack. Please comment if you download, let me know what you think.

"See what?" Patrick asks, leaning forward, hands resting on the sill.

Taking, but mostly wanted to comment on Civil Twilight, my favourite (okay, maybe second favourite) track off of the new Weakerthans album. Awesome choice, dude.

I came, I snagged, I fell in love with yet another fabulous Skoosie soundtrack. Seriously, my ipod is littered with playlists with titles I can't explain to people, though really I just flail and say "It's really great! You should listen to it! It's by this really awesome person on the internet!" I have now worn out TWO copies of the soundtrack for 'Certain Coasts'. WORE OUT CDS OKAY.
But anyway, back to what you've done to deserve this comment!flait: ILU. No, seriously. This mix, I don't know how you do it, but you got the essence of your (truly fantastic btw, I don't think I commented because I read it in the library as a break from paper research) fic down so, so perfectly. I got the nostalgia, the innocence, the joy and the dreamy quality of your little hundred acer wood, and in the middle of a wet fall/midterms it was summer again, dandelion puffs and starry nights and long, long days and all.
Long comment short: the soundtrack is lovely, I'm enjoying it immensely and I'd like to say thank you for making my ears so very happy and, finally, for possibly introducing me to some future favorite bands (1997? Who what how?).

*laughs* oh, that makes me SO HAPPY, seriously!! when I make these things I usually listen to them on repeat for days and then switch songs in and out and around and it's, you know, more work than you'd think! So I'm just really glad it works for you :) (and wearing out certain coasts! *flails* that's awesome praise!)
