My Ryan crossdressing AU is almost ready to post. I'm hoping to maybe post it later today/tonight, even though I just posted my other crazy fic, and I hate posting one fic right after the other. I want to get this thing off my desktop, though!

It's, like, 80 degrees outside today. It's October! I HATE this! I want a crisp fall! I want to trade out my summer clothes already! It's disgustingly drippy, too.

Also: STARGATE FRIDAY! Hi there, SGA, hiiiii *pets Rodney* I'm really sort of hating Sam right now, though. Seriously, the least they could have done was give us Daniel and Vala; can you imagine how much fun they'd be? Sam's just boring and intrusive.

As usual, I've got nothing else.

I was walking to the train with a friend of mine and we were bitching about how it was so damn HOT and we were just ready for it to get COLD already, you know?

All I was wearing was a [admittedly thermal] hoodie and cords and I was like, SWELTERING.

Also? I loved the Saddle Club AU, and I'm sure the crossing!Ryan is just as awesome if not more so.

until they brought Sam in. Come on, Elizabeth was a negotiator, a diplomat so she fulfilled a role. Sam? Is she a military necessity? No, John does that. Do they need another brilliant scientific mind? Nope, that's our boy Rodney. So, for me she's really unnecessary. She looks old and tired in the role. She had ten years on the original series (in which she was decent) but she brings *nothing* in my opinion to the Atlantis landscape.

SGA needs a vala. Sam is like Rodney and Elizabeth and Sheppard all combined in a piss poor sort of way. There is no wacky alien to cause trouble. I mean ronon and teyla are too like reserved I guess. Ronon is sort of a live wire, but imagine how fun it would be if Vala and Ronon hung out ok? Seriously! It would be the best thing ever. EVER.

They just developed elizabeth enough to make her interesting but her last episodes really showed what a great actress torri is. I think they were wasting her talent.

I think so, too. I like Sam in her place, but even on SG-1 I had a hard time stomaching her without Teal'c. It was very weird, but those two standing next to each other or talking made me want to hug them close, and yet Sam by herself or with anyone else was just a snoozefest.

As for Sam, I don't mind her yet. I liked her in SG-1 and she hasn't really made that much of an impression on me in SGA. I think I'll be okay with her unless/until they do a Sam-centric episode - that might annoy me.

We had a department cookout in Valley Forge park today and while it was nice this is not the usual thing that you can have in October. It's really fucked up.

I love Mitchell, he's so awesome. I kind of just wish all of them except for Sam were on SGA - I liked her on SG-1, but I think it's because Teal'c was with her. which is weird, but whatever. Teal'c is magic!

I sort of agree with you about Sam. I actually like her outside of Atlantis, but in the last episode she kind of pissed me off. I felt like she was making the whole thing with Ronon worse. Bleh. But, Amanda Tapping is so funny! That's why I kind of love her.

So season 3 of SGA just got released over here and so i bought it and have just finished watching it. But now I have to wait FOREVER to know what happens at the beginning of Season 4.

My stoopid sister used all our downloading limit as well as am stuck for the greater part of the next month *sigh*
