i loved it so very much until this: "When she was fifteen, John stared at Jeannie’s mouth as she shouted, “My god, you’re all imbeciles,” to the liege lords in his father’s Hunt, and he thought for the very first time that perhaps marrying Jeannie wouldn’t be that terrible after all." oh why oh why did u have to do that, i'm possibly traumatized for life, because john and rodney's *sister*- that's a whole different *universe* of wrong, esp john finding her *sexually* attractive, and yes pok, it's my inner OTP fangirl raving, not to mention the whole john being more than twice her age, and john and rodney's *sister*, sexually. wrong wronge and wrong and erm, ok, breaks my easily-breakably One True Pairing that mcshep heart... major angsting here, over a *few lines*, yes i know, but [sniffles] [sighs] but this is so good and so fun otherwise, i pretend i haven't read that part, but still worry where all this is going with one true love and john and jeannie (eek!) and can't help myself when faced with such well-written "snarky" fic... ... still trying to deny that i read anything about rodney's sister being found *sexy*, at least her mouth, by john. am i masochist, going ove and over it? and yes, should really get over it, but [whimpers] really really good perfect fic and really really bad em, "pairing"... anyway, off to read the next part, poor me.. lol
