This is seriously the most melodramatic thing I have ever written in my entire life, and I am VERY ATTACHED TO IT. Does this even really resemble AoGG anymore? Again, I'm skipping many years and mixing everything up, but, hey, if you like LOVE and TEARS and Ryan being honestly so adorable I could squish him, you might not hate me for ALMOST BREAKING RYAN'S EMO HEART! So, um, these are just a little bit addicting. They're like awesome writing exercises! Another LM Montgomery gem - what should I take on next? Kilmony of the Orchard? Emily of Blue Moon? Another Anne snippet? Any requests? Just a note on what I deem not!fic: a story that's not fully realized and also where the premise or plot is not mine. These are not, however, very accurate, and you probably don't have to know the original story to understand them. I last read The Blue Castle over a decade ago, so. Enjoy.

SPAM. Somehow, my furry octopus fic got put on some robot spam list - not as fun as it sounds - and I'm getting two to three replies a day about erectile disfunction and breast enlargement and stuff and I'm getting sick of it. Is anyone else having this problem? I flipped on the screen anon comments thing for it, so nobody sees them but me, but it's a pain in the ass.

Also, I may have a not!fic coming up soon, because Ryan? Kind of an Anne Shirley. No, no, seriously, hear me out: The Way brothers adopt him! Mikey wants to send him back! Gerard loves him instantly!! Spencer is his bosom friend and kindred spirit! Brendon pulls his pig-tails and Ryan hates him so much! Jon is the boy Spencer wants to marry and Ryan can't understand why he'd pick such a BOY who's going to be, like, a farmer or something, but wait, wait, I'm getting ahead of myself here, because not!fic! Coming soon. And it will not be a fic. Don't you worry.

So I had a hankering for a buddyfic with slashy undertones, but nothing overt. And then I had a eureka moment, because Planes, Trains and Automobiles is one of my favorite Thanksgiving movies, and the end always makes my heart ache, and I totally don't want to write it, so I kind of... didn't write it. The 'they're drunk' line was only slightly amended from the movie, because that part is absolute genius. Also, someone slicker than I could've made it all heartwarming and stuff, and more with the hilarity, and also threaded in John's life better, but! As I said, this is not a fic. It's important to remember that.

( So Rodney has to make it home to Vancouver for Christmas or Jeannie’ll literally kill him, since he’s missed Maddy’s last four birthdays and he hasn’t yet met little Robert, only nine months old, but there’s a massive snowstorm sweeping into Colorado springs. )
