* Firstly, someone has to put Merlin and Arthur on Atlantis, okay? That just should happen, like, immediately. I kind of want to make Merlin a gate tech *hands* so he doesn't know why Arthur is always taking him off-world.

* Secondly, someone NEEDS to write a fic where Jon Walker saves Christmas. I don't care how - maybe something Santa Clause-esque, only without him aging and rounding out; or maybe Jon's mysterious Uncle Nick needs some holiday help! Maybe he always disappears in radio silence to "Chicago" each year, but really he's up at the North Pole! Seriously. Seriously, think about it now, JON WALKER SAVES CHRISTMAS, HOW CAN THAT NOT BE A RECIPE FOR EXTREME AWESOME?

My Just One Of The Guys AU is coming along swimmingly even though it bares only the smallest resemblance to the actual movie. I've managed to dress Ryan up like a girl and I've given Frank Iero a piccolo and cast John Mayer as a disinterested principal because although I dislike his music, I think he's generally hilarious.

I've outlined some of my Red Dawn AU and sketched out who's playing who and I haven't decided whether I'm going to modernize it, or stick with the original cold war theme, although I did decide that I can't uproot it to Jersey, because that wouldn't work. So Colorado wilds it stays. I think it might be more snapshots than anything else, and I think it'll generally be from Patrick and Gerard's point of view. Maybe Mikey's, I'm not sure.

I'm seven pages into the fifth Ryan of Green Gables part, and it will likely be the last. Which is sad-making, but it had to wrap up at some point, I suppose. It will be LOVELY and TOUCHING and there will be WEDDINGS and BLUSHING BRIDES and, also: GABE.

reel_band has started out strong, but could still use some good writers! No one has chosen Breakin' 2 yet! That is UNACCEPTABLE okay? Ideas that I still want to see played out - I think a few of those movies were taken, so YAY.

The Toy! With Pete as the spoiled little rich brat and Patrick as the kid who's purchased as a toy for Pete! You can make this smutty if you want!

Time Bandits! With Brendon, Spencer and Ryan as the bandits, and Jon as the boy swept up in it all!

Somewhere In Time! Oh my god, time travel romance, people, with Ryan as the budding playwrite, and Brendon as the mysterious boy he travels back in time for! YOU WILL BE SOBBING!

Little Darlings! Summer camp with ALL THE BANDS! Bets on losing virginity! FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!

Stripes! One of my favorite movies of all time! Bill and Gabe join the army! It's a platoon of slackers! They hit on lots of boys girls Spencer and Ryan!

Seriously folks, I can come up with these indefinitely. They're so much fun.

Look. Look, I'm not saying y'all are lazy or whatever, but there could be more members for reel_band. Breakin' 2, people. I don't think there's any one of us who DOESN'T want that written, right? Am I right, here?

I will be pestering you in the most annoying ways possible until sign-ups are posted and done, fair warning. And no, you can't sign up for a movie quite yet - which shouldn't stop you from joining! - but I have picked my movie, and it isn't any of the ones I've mentioned before, and I'm not going to mention it now because I'm sure that'll jinx it and someone else will claim it before me, and then I'll be sad and cry and stuff and it'll just be pathetic. Whatever. It's going to be AWESOME.

I admit that I'm kind of so gung ho about this because - other than it being a totally rockin' idea - I have already finished my band_princesses challenge fic. I know, it's unheard of. I am never done this early. It's short, but seriously, there wasn't much I could do with Winnie-the-pooh. It's just a fun little romp.

And okay. Okay, I'm just going to leave you with one more idea, okay? A Big AU. Seriously, think about it. Patrick and Joe as best friends!! Patrick wishes he was an adult and then sudden he IS and then he meets Pete who is totally old but so much fun! They have sleepovers! And fall in love! And then it's sort of tragic, but you can fix that in the rewrite or whatever.

Okay. Okay, so we're still cut off from the kitchen, and we have to go out the basement and around the house to get to the upstairs, but I think we've worked it out. Also, our new king size bed? GINORMOUS. And it's so HIGH so we have to CLIMB UP onto it and it's AWESOME. I feel like I'm Patrick-sized!

natacup82 is creating a community for bandslash 80s movie AUs and I am SO EXCITED! I think I'm going to do Teen Witch. And maybe Better Off Dead, too, because I am greedy and that is possibly my most favorite 80s movie. We shall see.

I expect much participation or I will be sad! Along with these, I want to see a Breakin' 2 AU with DANCE OFFS - it's practically CANON, okay? - and I want to see a One Crazy Summer AU with Gerard as Hoops who draws cute fuzzy bunnies of love (and Frank and his guitar have to save his grandfather's house! Dirty gets stuck in a Godzilla suit!), and Adventures in Babysitting, okay, with Pete as the babysitter of Panic! who is (is it him?) a pinup in a dirty mag or something, and Bob Bryar shows up as Thor, and Teen Wolf! With Andy as Michael J Fox and Greta as Boof! Romancing the Stone! With Ryan as the author of romance novels who has to save Spencer from kidnappers, and gets stuck with adventurer!Pete, who is alternately trying to sleep with him and rip him off!

I want to see an AU of Mannequin (sp?) with Ryan as the dummy who comes to life and Brendon as the dorky guy who falls in love with him! Or, or! LOST BOYS, okay? Beckett and friends as vampires? Pete as the older brother, Patrick as the girl vampire he's sort of infatuated with, Brendon as the little boy vampire - he's wee! - and Ryan as the younger brother with the weirdo friends. It'd work, all right? I'm sure of it.

Okay, okay, I'm. I'm getting too excited. I think I could probably do these all day.
