A friend of mine has Verizon DSL. They came and did the setup and also provided a modem with a built-in wireless router. They have two computers utilizing the service, one hard-wired through an ethernet card and the other with a built-in wireless card. She pays about $17.00 a month. Her service isn't the highest speed they offer; they have 3 or 4 different levels of service, but she doesn't do any heavy file downloading or game playing. She says the speed is excellent for webbing and email.
