sometimes I suck so hard

So I just remembered that I'd signed up for bandslash_usa and I'm like, months behind? And I opened the file labeled panic_usa and this is all I've got:

“Look, look, I’m just saying,” Brendon says, “you should let me ride for free.”

Jon arches an eyebrow at him. “Are you twelve or younger?”

Brendon juts out his lower lip. “In spirit, Jon Walker. In spirit, I’m totally, like, eight, I so am.”

“In spirit,” Jon says, and jerks his head towards the carousel, because it’s not like he wasn’t going to let Brendon on anyway. Brendon’s sort of hard to resist, and most times Jon doesn’t even bother trying.

Brendon whoops, actually whoops, and Jon laughs a little, then says, “Hurry up, dude, this is my last ride of the day.”
