skoosiepants: (sga - shine on)
Title: Turn Sharp
Pairings: Hermione/Blaise-ish, Draco/Ron-ish
Word count: 5300+
Rating: PG
Summary: Malfoy’s jaw tensed, muscles jumping, and he bit out, “This isn’t about trust, Granger. This is about you currently being the only fourth we could agree on.”
A/N: This is another HP/SGA fusion fic! This is # 3 in my Directional Series, following Stay Left. Reading both Go Far and Stay Left before this one is strongly encouraged. Huge thanks to [livejournal.com profile] druidspell for the excellent beta :) As it stands now, there will be one more DS story, from Malfoy's pov.

Turn Sharp )
skoosiepants: (HiS ginny w/wrench)
Title: Otherwise
Pairings: Ginny/JFF, Ginny/rage blackouts, Ron/Draco
Rating: PG-13/R for language?
Word count: 4000+
Summary: “I am getting completely shit-faced and then I’m going to kill Finch-Fletchly and then at some point I hope to get my job back.”
A/N: This is an effort to cheer myself up. God, I think I had bits of this fic on my computer squirreled away for over a year, and I found it today and realized the reason I couldn't finish any of it was because I was pushing a pairing I didn't believe in anymore. This is good old crack! This is Ginny being ANGRY BEYOND ALL REASON! Enjoy.

“You are mentally imbalanced,” he said slowly. )
skoosiepants: (sga - pancakes?)
Title: Stay Left
Pairings: Seamus/Finch-Fletchly friendship, Ron/Malfoy-ish, implied Sheppard/McKay, Seamus/Neville pre-slash
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 3,800+
Summary: His mum had called him gifted growing up, but his da always claimed he was a neurotic optimist with a dangerously large brain and a mild case of Tourette’s
Warning: Non Magic HP/SGA fusion fic.
A/N: This follows the HP/SGA fusion fic Go Far, and some things might not make sense without reading that first. However, this is from Seamus' POV and Go Far is from Ron's, and Ron has an entirely different take on Pegasus. I'm tentatively calling this the Directional Series, since I've got an adventure in mind for Hermione next. Massive thanks to [livejournal.com profile] druidspell for the awesome beta!

Stay Left )
skoosiepants: (sga - rodney seriously?)
Title: Go Far
Pairing: Ron/Malfoy-ish, implied Sheppard/McKay
Rating: PG-13
Word Count: 4,300+
Summary: The Pegasus Galaxy wanted Ron dead.
Warning: As should be obvious above, this is a HP/SGA fusion fic. Non-magic.
A/N: Self-indulgent stuff and nonsense. If you’re unfamiliar with my HP stuff, I tend to go my own way with the characters. If you’re familiar with my HP stuff, I haven’t written Ron and Draco in a long time, so bear with my less than stellar Brit cadence. Massive thanks go to [livejournal.com profile] druidspell for the beta, helpful comments & suggestions, and all around encouragement.

Ron regretted his decision to hopscotch into the Pegasus Galaxy about once every two weeks or so. )
skoosiepants: (sparkly animated - jmo)
Title: The Entirely Wrong Way (1/2)
Rating: PG-13 (I seriously thought it would be more, but alas, no go)
Pairings/characters: Hermione/Blaise, Draco/Ron, a few spatterings of others. Various persons pop up here and there.
Summary: The Honorable Hermione Granger always seemed to get into the most horrendous scrapes. A Pirate!AU with Captain Draco Malfoy at the helm of The Tidy Squall, and Mr. Blaise Zabini at his side.
The Long List of Important Story Notes and Warnings!!!!
I hate research. You're lucky I even bothered with a few details in this *grins winningly*
~ "Old coat" is an old sailor, not a misspelling of "old coot" - just to clarify.
~ The Abacos Islands are a string of largely uninhabited islands in the Carribean, however I doubt they were called Abacos when this story takes place - I'm not even going to bother to pin down a date, but 16 or 17 hundreds thereabout - but I don't care. I'm calling them Abacos. Blue Cay is completely fictional.
~ Good King Wenceslas was written far after this adventure as well, but I liked the idea of Hermione's father singing that particular ditty, so I left it in.
~ The ages of everyone are mixed up for the purpose of some accuracy to the time period. And I use the phrase "some accuracy" quite loosely. Draco and Blaise are early 30's, Hermione, Hannah and Ron are barely 17 or so, and everyone else it doesn't much matter. You can just imagine for them.
~ I purposely abuse the word "aye" because I love it so. Also, I take full advantage of the "Pirates" poke from PotC - which I shan't explain but you'll be able to pick up on it, I'm sure.
~ Some of you may hate me for my characterization of Harry in this. I apologize in advance.

Lastly!! This turned out incredibly fluffy, everyone is OOC, my language is much more verbose - I think it's my inner romance novelist coming out - because, oh yes. This has Harlequin stamped all over it. I wrote this entirely for my own amusement. Hopefully some of you will enjoy it as well.
And it's open-ended, nothing quite completely wrapped up, because I might possibly write in this world again :)

The Entirely Wrong Way: Part One )
skoosiepants: (ernie - puppy)
Wow, I'm in the middle of writing my pirate!fic and Blaise isn't being cooperative, so I've been going through some files for inspiration.

Sorry for the spammage tonight... just felt like posting lots *grins winningly*
And I'd edit the Ghost Zeppelin entry, but I felt like that sorta needed to stand on it's own.

So, anywho, I need to set up a dead story page, I think. Here are a few ideas that unforunately puttered out...

A twitchy bloke with fine brown hair and pale eyes shook Nev awake, but the night was still dark and heavy when he crawled out of the tent and blinked up at the man who’d been guarding Seamus so closely. )

At some point, Hermione died. )

When their eyes catch over the frozen foods, Draco’s heart stutters in his chest and he struggles to keep the shock off his face. )

I just took a shower (yay!) and got inspired to write a Hannah!scene in the pirate fic. Good little Hannah, always so helpful :)
skoosiepants: (blink - mush)
I was in a pensive mood.

Quick ficlet about a losing war. Ron's team is trapped, their options limited, their loyalty to the secrets of the Order firm. A bit open-ended and raw. Minor off-screen character death warning, tho it's one of my favorites so I had a hard time doing it.

This isn't all that good, but I'm fond of some of my descriptors *nods*

There were shifting shadows, moving black hulks flickering in and out of the semi-bare branches, wand-tips flaring with brief confidence, harsh barks of laughter spiraling up towards the second story like smoke. )
skoosiepants: (draco - dirtytrousers)
This is for [livejournal.com profile] littleleggylulu. She requested Draco/Ron to cheer her up, and while I'm normally horrible at writing on demand, as it were - since my muse is a tricky, hateful bitch - I got inspired.

Title: Forfeit
Pairing: Draco/Ron
Rating: Um. I think it just warrants an R.
Summary: Draco is completely straight. Honestly. (PWP)
Author notes: My goal for this short piece was to fit as many clichés in as I could. This is purposefully cheesy, since I'm incapable of writing straight pr0n (and by "straight" I mean non-comedic). This is un-beta'd, baked fresh.

Forfeit )
skoosiepants: (sparkly animated - jmo)
*gasp* *shock* I've actually written something other than DT and DF! I am amazed at myself, but this Draco/Ron hit me last night. It's shortish, and I think it's trying too hard for something it doesn't actually acheive, but I've already told you folks that I suck at angst, so. Be forewarned.

Still, I'll do it up official like.

Title: Aftermath
Rating: PG-13ish
Summary: Ron can taste Dark Magic, and Malfoy's mouth is clean. Reconstruction in west London.
Author notes: Yeah. Tries too hard, but I love the feel of it. The flow is similar to my Commune Love Story. This is unbeta'd and really raw. I may rework it later on. And the ending is abrupt, I know. Sorry.

Aftermath )
skoosiepants: (Ron)
All official-like...

Title: Everybody Here Would Know
Pairings/Characters: Draco/Ron, Ernie
Rating: PG-13, for language and innuendo
Word Count: 8,996
Summary: Blame it on the hot, salty island air. And Seamus.
A/N: I've revamped my defunct island idea into this long one-shot, and was able to tear myself away from Dirty Trousers long enough to finish this up. I had mucho fun with it, and all I have to say is I want myself an Ernie. Ernie rocks.

Title is taken from the Paul Simon song Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes. It just seemed so Draco/Ron to me. Plus, well... you'll see.

This has been checked for quality crackedness by [livejournal.com profile] sanityinstrife *hugs her*

Is it weird to think that these stories write themselves? That the characters do all the work? I never know how everyone's going to come off, and that makes me suspect I might just be a little insane.

Anywho. Enjoy.

But really, I'm just looking at some old discs.

[livejournal.com profile] dirtytrousers has hit over a 100 pages! *does The Robot* And I'm less than a week into it, in case you haven't noticed. It's only friday, and it started on a Saturday. Wow. This is panning out to be somewhat Long-hidden Skies-ish, in which I'm only about four days in and it's over a 100 pages (I think). Anywho, I'm having fun, so that's what counts!

And now, onto old discs. Anyone up for some deleted Don't Let's Start? Yes, that's right, I threw out a couple scenes I didn't like, and went in completely different directions. Fun, eh?

what the authoress never wanted you to see )

And that's all for now folks. Luff and smooches.
skoosiepants: (chubby & pillow)
Several wonderful crackfic stories have already been posted at [livejournal.com profile] oohsparkly, plus a shiny new challenge, which I've just answered myself :)

Here's some Draco/Ron crackficcery goodness:
Impudent Secretaries and Spanish Puppets

Now I'm off to answer my posts and check up on flisters *hugs all*

ETA: As [livejournal.com profile] sanityinstrife has pointed out, I've been failing in my duty to solicit Pansy recs. March is almost over! Send me recs!
skoosiepants: (toilet monkey)
And completely remiss in updating this. Sorry. I have been totally immersed (sp?) in [livejournal.com profile] dirtytrousers which is good, but bad at the same time. BUT! I have been writing other things, just not showing you fine folks.

The sequel to my Seamus/Theo fic Rivalry - Revenge - is done and being perused by [livejournal.com profile] sanityinstrife for quality crackedness control.

Everybody Here Would Know, Day Two, is still stuck on one point, but I'm working through it.

The epilogue to The Origin of Storms is with my beta-reader.

Nighthawk 10 is temporarily stalled, not by my own will, but my muse's. She can be a stubborn bitch. I fully expect to get back on track with that soon, though.

I'm still feeling all the love from my Dirty Trousers fans. You are the best!

A gift?

A little slice of Everybody Here Would Know, Day Two )

EDIT: It's snowing, work sent us home early, and I've just about OD'd on cookies. Hurray!
skoosiepants: (Ron)
*evil cackle*

too short, I know )

*laughs* This premise is entirely silly. I'm going to have so much fun with it!
skoosiepants: (Neville)
I'm visiting Pirate Booty in Hell (read Maryland) this weekend, so I won't be online. Unless I can snag her laptop for a bit. Otherwise, I may get the shakes. Withdrawl is serious business, folks.

On a good note, I've reworked Chapter 18 of The Origin of Storms and sent it back to Angelique to look over and I've got a page and a half of the epilogue written! I'm so close to being done! Which is kind of a relief and kind of sad, too.

Anywho, here's a little Ron/Draco drabble. I wrote it for Don't Let's Start, but I don't think I'll use it. Or at least not written like this, since the pacing (ha!) is all off for the rest of the story. Not sure if I like it either.

The most important parts of Ron were not tired )

Disturbing, eh?
skoosiepants: (Neville)
Ever notice how I'm almost always in a good mood? Does that bug you? It takes very little to make me happy :)

(slash warning)
Spoils of war and all )

I'm having way too much fun with Stranded. I never want it to end!

[Edit: Shiny new mood theme! Wow, I'm really all over the place with this LJ. Pie. Pirates. HP. Petes. Sailor Moon.]
skoosiepants: (Neville)
1. My attention span is disturbingly short

2. My Quiet One's gift-fic muse is being obstinately broody and non-Christmas-y

3. Chapter 18 of Origin of Storms sucks.

4. Ron and Draco shagging makes me happy.

So... early Halloween present: Wench!Ron was birthed by [livejournal.com profile] ladybeth, although I dont think this is quite what she had in mind *grins*

This is part one (?) of an AU Mutiny!verse cookie - if Archenemy and Endless Love never happened, so some pirate references may not make sense unless you've read Mutiny!. But seriously, there isn't much plot, so it doesn't much matter :) This is slash, dirty R, with a possible NC-17 continuation...

I always think I'm going to get so much done during the weekend, but then my boyfriend comes over and brings Miss Hyper-dog and all my time is spent entertaining them, since they can't stand being ignored. It's somewhat annoying. Anyway, I won't be able to write more until tomorrow night, and it's such a shame because I was on a huge roll with Don't Let's Start. So, so close to finishing chapter 7.

Draco is bored )

A bit rough. *shrugs*
