OMG Encino Man is one of the many guilty pleasures of my life! First of all, I am head over heels in love with Sean Astin. Then you've got Pauly Shore who is in the midst of all of Weasel glory in this film. Last, and certainly not least, Brendan Fraser BABY! Oh yeah! The cast alone is worth watching the movie!

Oh yeah, and watching Brendan run around half naked, grunting and such. Nice. The movie is hilarious, and I watch it anytime it comes across my screen. Psst...I also own the film on vhs and dvd!

I watched Crash last night and for some reason I kept picturing Brendan in Encino Man... SO GOOD! All the points you made are valid. I am such a Pauly Shore fan, too... he's one of my guilty pleasures. I don't own it, but I so should *nods*

Crash is quite a good movie. Quite different from Encino Man, but good stuff just the same. *hehe* Brendan will always be the Encino Man-Brendan to me...well and the School Ties Brendan. I like that one too.

I'm a big time Pauly Shore fan. William and I even went to see his standup show one time in Dallas. He is really funny in person, and even hangs out after his shows to chat with people, take pictures, and sigh autographs.

You really should own Encino Man. Dude, seriously!
