skoosiepantsThree and a half months until SG-1 and SGA return. I've been gorging myself on my favorite vids because I'm just so sad. And the fact that this pretty much broke me - in the best way possible - has me even more broody about my eternal love for John Sheppard and Rodney McKay.
In other news, my computer decided it didn't like me, and didn't like being in Happy's room. I took the CPU apart and it was lousy with rabbit hair, so now I have to move the thing to my spare bedroom. I wanted it in Happy's room so she'd have lots of company, but it's just not smart. My monitor actual started burning yesterday. *sigh*
I need a new SGA plot. So. Is there anything any of you'd like me to try my hand at?

I'd love to see Rodney changed into a woman, and after the initial shock/penile-oriented freak out being being absolutely delighted about it (I mean, breasts, at his disposal, 24/7 [and with ultra-sensitive nipples too, I bet], and multiple orgasms--instead of giving them he gets to be on the receiving end!!--what's not to love?). And then some brave guy hits on him, or maybe (s)he's just scoping out the men, and John's choking and Rodney's all blase, talking about his broad-mindedness and experiments in grad school and really, isn't everyone just a little bit bisexual? And Rodney and Teyla could commiserate about womanly issues (which always leads to talking about sex), and Rodney and Ronon could flirt outrageously with each other, and Radek would treat Rodney exactly the same way he always has. And John, of course, develops A Thing for Rodney, cause it's Rodney only wrapped up a nice, neat heterosexual package. And then they live happily ever after, and maybe Rodney *doesn't* get changed back! (Unless you just really want him to.)

Date: 2006-03-13 06:15 am (UTC)Now that I'm thinking about it I'm realizing that sex/gender change is one of my favorite fic themes, but it seems to be kind of rare. I can only think of a handful in SGA, and most of them aren't complete finished stories. (And a lot of them are personally unsatisfying to me, because they start with a premise I love, but then veer off in directions I don't.) Anyway, I'll have to check--I don't think svmadelyn's is one I've read already.
