Because writing two SGA fics at once clearly isn't enough to keep me occupied. I just did something stupid and signed up for the SGA Classic Movie Challenge - which looks like huge fun, so everyone else should do this as well *nods*

It took me all morning to figure out which one I wanted to try my hand at, but I ended up with The Adventures of Robin Hood. Oh god. The possibilities for crack are endless. I have no idea where to start! *is excited*

I may have done a horrible thing. I signed up too. *meep*

It'll be the first thing I've written in SGA. I asked for Topper. *g*

Yay! You're going to write SGA *g* I can't wait, I'm sure it'll be awesome. And you got ghosts in yours, which is always fun *nods*

Isn't this the best challenge? I love old movies. Although I think I'm probably going to be relying on my memory of prince of theives and men in tights for this :) I guess you can't really do Robin Hood wrong.

No, it's not SGA... but the dress they have me in is absolutely Glorious (even the costume people called it gorgeous, in spite of it just being an uber plain, green dress) Go being a villager! Woot!

Sadly, I have no idea when it will actually air (or what the number is, or any of that jazz) but it's an episode of SG-1, where there's some kind of religious war between people of a religion called "origin" or, light of origin or something to that effect, and the people of some random planet. There's a scene where a woman, called the "orisee" (i have no idea how to spell it, i'm just going phonetically) speaks to a crowd about how it is now "up to us to spread the light of origin" blah blah. I am in that crowd. Ha ha (my moment of glory!) Green dress, really curly hair (i totally don't even know if i was ever actually on camera) But then, a rumbling starts, and a big cloud forms, and apparently our whole planet is vanquished. After all the extras were dismissed, they took all of our costumes, and filmed the scene with all the clothing lying on the floor, sans the people that were in them.
Ha. I was vaporized on SG!

OOOOOooo, the Ori! I know exactly what you're talking about, but sadly that could be many episodes in the future *g* I will keep an eye out for you! Or what I think is you :)

*EEK!* I would so join this if I had more than a passing knowledge of SGA. If it was Harry Potter, I'd be all over it. Besides, Singing in the Rain and Sound of Music were both taken *is sad* Can't wait to read yours though!!

I waited too long to decide and missed out on both Singin' in the Rain and White Christmas, which are my two favorite movies of all time... but I really didn't know where I would take either one, though, since I hate a) not writing McShep and b) casting the characters in roles that they really shouldn't play. I figure Robin Hood will be fairly easy to cast :)

*giggles* I do agree with Singin' In The Rain. I'd want to do it just to get John dancing in milk. :-D

*laughs* Ronon is totally Little John, and Sheppard is definitely Robin. I think I'm going to twist the story a bit *g*
