Bare with my stupidity here: How does this work? Does Verizon have to come out and install something, or do I buy my own router and they just turn something on? Can someone who's set something like this up let me know what you've gone through? Customer Service is unhelpful if you're just asking questions. It's like, sign up or eat shit. No in between. And right now I'm just sort of researching options. So. Any advice??

I had a bit of trouble with it, but it was because my grandmother didn't have a wireless card in her computer and I didn't have my wireless switch on. Once we got those taken care of it worked. You should call the Verizon support line. I always get help from them when I call. It's one of the things I like best about Verizon.

You could try googling your problem as well and see if anything has anything to help. I am searching for anything that will help.

If your screen froze it may not have finished. Do you have the verizon wireless itself set up yet? If you don't you should do that first.

I'm actually just going through my comcast highspeed, so I can't call ANYONE to help, because I'm setting it up myself. But I know the laptop is wireless ready, cause it keeps telling me that... it even says it's connected, and that the signal is "excellent" but omg I'm going crazy. I"m considering ruining my neighborhood cred and calling in the geek squad. This sucks! I finally went to bed last night after playing with it for four hours.
