I often start fics that I never finish, so all I have is this one weird war story AU, where John is sent off to war, not on Earth or anything, but some weird civilisation and then Rodney's on the other side, I think they were rebels, but he helps kidnap John to defeat the weird civilisation using, of course, his gene. It was kinda angsty though, what with John hating being in the war but it was all he'd known and Rodney had been fighting for his life his whole life, etc. etc. But you are totally welcome to it.

I couldn't possibly give you ideas (because my ideas are lame and I enjoy other people's ideas a lot better anyway), but I do have to tell you about something totally random which I did today. I was at the DVD/music store and I saw something which reminded me of you. Any guesses what it might be? Actually I'll just tell you. It was "The Breakfast Club" on DVD! For about £8. Obviously I had to buy it. My friends don't understand why I'm so crazy to see it (I was born in 1989 and I'm british), but I can't wait to finally watch this legendary film!

Oddly enough, I have had writer's block on every story except one and this one I can only write while I'm at school...which probably isn't the best time to be writing a Faith/Wes fic for Angel.

Well lets see....*brings out the bunny files.* Ever seen Farscape? There is this episode where John and D'Argo (the two male leads) are sent to a planet because they are fighting so much. There they end up arguing some more and for some reason get drugged and then put on display for the populace. I thought it would be funny if the SGA guys had it done to them.

I have this cracked-out SGA AU idea.
It started with thinking about Rodney as a Frasier-type radio host. In my mind: Rodney was an invited guest that so annoyed the regular host enough that he walked out, leaving Rodney with an open mic, and he just talked. Like Rodney would do. And of course the station got hundreds of calls asking for more of the 'honest' man. With John in the producer/co-star role. Working together, giving each other shit on air, and then having sex over the producing table. As you do.

AU: TornadoChaser!Rodney and Sheriff!John

Rodney is in tornado country (Oklahoma, perhaps?) studying supercell storms with cutting-edge technology and his big giant brain; John is the local sheriff/law enforcement officer whose job includes keeping slack-jawed touristy types AWAY from said storms before they get themselves killed. Snarktastic loveliness ensues.

Feel free to ignore if the idea doesn't strike you; I personally find the thought of John slouching against a patrol car, smirking, uniform pants riding low, to be very, um... "inspirational," but I'm easy that way!
