Oooo, a review of Black Parade? As in MCR? I'm pretty sure MCR are, like, my favortist band ever, of all time. They grew on me like a cancer. I have all three of their albums on constant repeat on my iPod. I just *flails* can't get enough of them, and Gerard is just so pretty.

Yuppers. notshybutsly and I have been working hard on a comprehensive review of the album. It's got fun and games and blond jokes. I know nothing about the band still, so it's mostly me dorking out over the music and Rachel being funny and informative.

I hope we don't let hxc lovers of the band down. That's my only worry. Plus, I can't possibly finish it while at work listening to disco music, it makes my head spin and I can't picture Mikey in dork mode easily enough.

While I wait for the people to leave so I can pop the CD on, I'm compiling a rec list a mile wide for a newcomer to the fandom. I know you've read most of it, but I hope it'll be a nice place for people to check in on when looking for something. I feel so accomplished!

I've gobbled up most of what I can find for MCR, and I've even tried wading through the horrible, horrible communities out there. Horrible. When MCR fic is bad, it's SO BAD. I hope you rec something I haven't read yet!

Also, I have found that I can't write when I'm listening to the band I'm writing about. It's, like, creepy. Or I'm creepy. One of those.
