music request and other stuff
Jun. 17th, 2007 01:17 pmHey, can anyone upload any All-American Rejects stuff for me? I'm a mooch, I know, you love me. I'm actually going to upload some random music for you all soon :) I'm making mixes and figured out how to work an FTP to get them on my site so the links don't, you know, expire. I am so smart. Seriously, sometimes I amaze even myself.
Stuff I Need To Know For The Brendon Urie Coming Out Fic That I Could Probably Look Up Myself But Figured I'd Start With You All:
1) Is the cabin of love where the guys were writing located in Vegas?
2) At this moment in time, Brendon is on good terms with his parents, right?
3) Does Chicago have a zoo? If so, does this zoo have giraffes and llamas and tigers and ostriches and possibly a place to pet goats?
4) Be honest now; how awesome is Jon Walker?
This is the laziest Sunday of all Sundays. I am still, technically, in bed, even though I've been up since 8 this morning.

Date: 2007-06-17 05:51 pm (UTC)Hope someone uploads AAR for you, if not then yell and I'll connect up the drive with music on and get things uploaded for you, it's just a bit tricky. Sorry.
Also Jon Walker is very very awesome because of the flip flops. And the willingness to be put into clothing with roses on.

Date: 2007-06-17 06:13 pm (UTC)(You also should probably know that there is a lot of parts of Nevada where the cabin couldn't be, as only 11% of Nevada is privately owned land - the rest is either government or tribal.)

3) Lincoln Park (north side, free admission) has all of these things. Also, the more popular and Children Zoo one is Brookfield, which actually has an enclosure where the kids (and adults) can pet the farm animals, including goats at the Hamill Family Play Zoo. I can get you maps and stuff if you want, because I am that hardcore (my family is members there). Lincoln Park is right downtown, Brookfield is 15 minutes or so out of the city.
4) There are no words.
Want me to send you a zip of Move Along? Thus far, it's the only CD I have in it's entirety on my slowly rebuilding hard drive.

If it wouldn't be too much trouble?

From:Lincoln Park vs Brookfield Zoos
Date: 2007-06-18 02:02 am (UTC)Brookfield is really big, and features animals in a more natural habitat. You can ride a tram around the zoo and hop on and off. They also have those machines where you can get wax molded figures of different animals. (Funny the things you remember.) Along with the children's petting zoo, I think there's also a farm.

Date: 2007-06-18 05:07 pm (UTC)(no subject)
Date: 2007-06-18 08:34 pm (UTC)It's better than Lincoln Park Zoo for three main reasons:
1 - It is much much larger
2 - It has many more animals
3 - It has more realistic habitats for the animals and is mostly organized by where the animals are from. This means there are 'houses' for all the different regions (such as Africa and Australia) or climate types (Swamp, Savannah, Rainforest) in addition to the standards such as the Reptile House and Bird House.
This summer they even have a 'pet the stingrays' exhibit and they always have a Butterfly house where you can walk through an area where butterflys are flitting about from spring until fall.
