I have about an hour to kill til the floor guy comes to give us an estimate, and then I'll be painting walls all afternoon, so. This isn't exactly a meme, but I've seen something like it around? Maybe? Anyway: ask me any question about any of my fics - that are finished - about, like, what happens in the future of that 'verse or whatever. You know what I mean. Or you can really just ask me any question about any fic at all. Kind of like what-the-heck-were-you-thinking? type stuff. If you're interested.

If I don't get to them this morning I'll do them later on, but I'm seriously just staring at my word docs and my mind is a blank. Just a teeny-tiny bout of writer's block. It'll go away. I hope.

Dirty Trousers. (Had to go there, dude. I had to.) Curious about everyone's future, of course. But I think I had the most "Huh...I wonder..." moments about Lav. And CJ, for that matter.

Also, I haven't read the stories to go with them yet, but these soundtracks are fab. And the Films' Belt Loops? Is looping through my brain over and over and I really can't stop listening to it and love it quite a lot at the moment.

Lav! Okay. Here's what I think. I think Lav spends several more months being Miss Independent and she starts hanging out with Millie, through Ernie, and develops this sort of fondness for little Colin. Colin, when he likes someone he adores her, and Lav thinks he's sort of sweet and the attention is nice, and not the creepy sort-of stalking Nev used to do. He's totally not afraid of her dark moods or riding on the Baron and - bonus - when her dad rolls into town, they all get along famously. They just kind of fall into each other, and are suddenly comfy and Colin's light-hearted look on the world tempers Lav's complete irritation with everything and everyone who isn't her boys.

CJ and Lav end up being very close siblings, and CJ takes maybe another year before he realizes Cho is in love with him. He's totally stunned, and Cho's hurt that he's so stunned, except he hastens to add that it's a good sort of stunned, and that he'd just never thought Cho was interested! To which Lav, who happened to overhear totally by accident, chucks a dinner roll at his head because seriously. CJ is quite the catch.

Of course you give me the TOUGH one! Um. I think it takes a while for them to really move on together. I think it works kind of easily between them because they still have all their old habits and Brendon is persistent as fuck, but Spencer still needs that distance between them. So he's socializing more by living with Ryan, but Brendon's still in Vegas to be close to Marla and Jay, so it's like long distance dating for a while.

And then maybe they start playing again. They start getting excited about playing together again and toss around the idea of a studio album, and maybe a tour, since Lily's old enough to travel and too young to be in school, and Cassie's really supportive and everything. Nothing's set in stone, though, because for Brendon it would be really tough leaving Jay alone for that long, but it would be so good to do it and not just for Spencer. It's maybe another year before they decide anything, because Spencer is okay in front of crowds, like, on stage, but the before and afterwards are iffy and he gets panic attacks just thinking about it, and he has to call Deana and his therapist daily for about three weeks before they officially put out notice that they're recording again as a group.

And Brendon would just be there, like he always is, and they'd maybe fall into old patterns, only more, what with the sort of dating and all, and this time it doesn't freak Spencer out, how easy it is. He just lets it happen.

Jon is totally stoked to meet the guys again! Brendon won't stop hugging him and he can't stop smiling and it really just. Clicks into place for him. like he was just waiting around for them, even though he actually wasn't. And they still have Brent and all at first and he just FITS anyway. Spencer just gives him this big grin and Ryan clasps his hand and bumps his shoulder and tells him they missed him, and even Brent is happy to see him! They have this BOND and all and it's magical.

I'm going to say that the final battle came down to Pete and Brendon, because Pete never gives up, and Brendon cheats. Brendon uses bambi-eyes and pouts and pretends he's hurt his foot or something and then catches everybody off guard. And even when everyone knows he cheats, it's just really hard to finish him off. Of course, he never fights Spencer, since Spencer would never agree to wrestle in mud, but Spencer would totally beat him. Anyway, Brendon and Pete. And I'm gonna say Pete wins, because, seriously, he's tenacious and Brendon tires easy (and also occasionally is weakened by giggle-fits) and Pete only ever falls for Patrick's puppy-eyes.

Ray is the royal baker. He hides on in the kitchens and makes the best bread and pastries and stuff. Bob is what William likes to call his "man servant" except really he just fixes things. Like a handyman. Or a smithy :)

But then Frank would totally snuggle up to him at night and say something like, 'I like your pancakes bestest, and I like you bestest,' and Gee would be happy and feel a little silly because its Frankie! and Frankie loves Gee no matter how good Ray's pie is, although seriously, pie, and then they sneak out of bed to go canoodle somewhere where A. I just. I don't know if that's really him- for instance 'rumour'. I'm not sure, but I don't think anyone native to NJ writes 'rumour' the good old UK way. But that's a faily common US mistake anyway. They are definitely still in Atlantis! I'd like the think the Wraith are somehow involved in their future as well. Maybe Ryan and Jon and Spencer get scooped up in a dart and Brendon has to dial Atlantis for backup and insists on going on the rescue mission and stuff.

William somehow gets recruited for an offworld team with Gabe and Travis and Lieutenant Jesse Lacey and they go on lots of adventures.

Hmmmm.... I might write more about all of them, that could be fun!

I think JC would eventually be appalled by her lack of fashion sense, and also her desire to NOT be schooled on what to wear, so that would go downhill fast. Or not even get off the ground. JC and Lavender, on the other hand, would get on famously.

Hmmmm. Although I would love it if he wrote a kinky novel, I don't think he does. I think he's too busy living the adventure to write sci-fi. Except he keeps notes of all his missions and stuff, and when the Stargate program is declassified he writes a hugely popular memoir.
