I just spent 10 minutes scrolling through my Ss II fic looking for a snippet to give you, and I can't find one that doesn't have a spoiler for the rest of the story. Darn it all. I have nothing to entertain you with this fine Monday morning.

Um. Maybe a teensy something from my Ryan crossdressing AU? If nothing else, this fic has given me a tiny crush on Ashlee Simpson. I know, it's sick and wrong, right?

“Okay.” Ashlee popped up behind Spencer and Ryan didn’t squeal, but it was a close thing. Seriously, she had some sort of ninja training deep down in her bones. “Nice outfit,” she said to Ryan. “It’s a step up from vagrant chic, at least. I like your pants.”

Ryan just stared at her.

Ashlee rolled her eyes. “Gee, thanks, Ash, that’s awfully nice of you to say, considering I’ve been pretending to be a girl for the past month and a half. You’re very welcome, Ryan, I just happen to be that awesome.”

Ryan blinked. “Hi, Ashlee.”

“Oh, boy.” Ashlee hooked her arm through his. “Lunch is gonna be fun.”

God, I'm the lamest person ever to lame. Can you spell boring?

In other news - my shower invites are out and I've been sneaking peaks at my registry and it's so much fun to see what's been bought! EXCITING!
