reel_band has started out strong, but could still use some good writers! No one has chosen Breakin' 2 yet! That is UNACCEPTABLE okay? Ideas that I still want to see played out - I think a few of those movies were taken, so YAY.

The Toy! With Pete as the spoiled little rich brat and Patrick as the kid who's purchased as a toy for Pete! You can make this smutty if you want!

Time Bandits! With Brendon, Spencer and Ryan as the bandits, and Jon as the boy swept up in it all!

Somewhere In Time! Oh my god, time travel romance, people, with Ryan as the budding playwrite, and Brendon as the mysterious boy he travels back in time for! YOU WILL BE SOBBING!

Little Darlings! Summer camp with ALL THE BANDS! Bets on losing virginity! FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!

Stripes! One of my favorite movies of all time! Bill and Gabe join the army! It's a platoon of slackers! They hit on lots of boys girls Spencer and Ryan!

Seriously folks, I can come up with these indefinitely. They're so much fun.

All this talk of 80's AU's made me wonder if you had heard that they are remaking Short Circuit and Teen Wolf. I don't know what to think of this yet, lol, but i'm not sure I like it.

I have not heard that! It seems that everything they make nowadays is a remake of something. I'm not sure I'm cool with that, either. The originals were just priceless!

I still totally want a Princess Bride AU. Is that being used? Because it totally, totally should be, and I can't write it because there seriously would be no justice served to it, so someone like, oh, you, needs to write it. *g*

Why are people afraid of Breakin 2? It is hurting me deeply, also how everybody is missing the goldmine that is Rock N'Roll High School I will never understand. Ryan Ross is totally Riff Randall, and since the Ramones totally show up in the movie, Fall Out Boy could totally play his school!

But then I put aside my pain, because HEATHERS! I seriously cannot wait to read every single one of these fics.

I think everyone is afraid of the super cool street dance offs!! If no one picks that one, I might have to just do a couple of scenes or something, because it just must be done!

I am embarrassed to say that I am more familiar with the more lame Rock N Roll Highschool Forever, with Corey Feldman, in his I-Think-I'm-Michael-Jackson years. It's so horrible and yet I've seen it so many times.

People really need to stop being so afraid, but I dont think anybody is gonna complain if you do random scenes from it. AT ALL.

I keep waiting for someone to pick Dance til Dawn, because I really dont want to have to attempt it myself, but I would and then everybody would be sad that i was ruining their childhoods.

I have seen Rock N Roll Highschool Forever so many damn times that I had to rent the original to see exactly where they got all that crackheadedness from, and yet I walked away with no new knowledge. There are random furries in that movie. It's insane. And oh Corey Feldman and Not!Corey Haim, I love that stupid ass movie so much.

I'm thinking it might be easiest to let everybody change one of their prompts once (because keeping track of more changes would kill me dead) just in case. SO all that is to say yes, you can drop one prompt and find another...there are so many wonderfully funny, cracked out movies left on that list I dont even know where to start suggesting alternatives.

oh cool, that'll be awesome. We used to watch that over and over again at sleepovers, which, okay, maybe that made them sort of lame sleepovers but whatever. The singing telegram part was our favorite for some reason.
