I don't know much about chemistry, but allotropy¹ could be like having all of the Alexes in Atlanis.

I like what druidspell said above. though I just wanted to say---I read Supersaturation and all of its relations much earlier this (school) year, and, as it happens, I'm studying chemistry this year. as the year went/goes on, learning about the terms that are fic titles brought much grinning into class. :D
