It's started earlier than they predicted, which could be bad or good. We'll see. J went off to the gym, but hopefully he'll get back in time for us to head off to blockbuster and get some movies before being snowed in. He's got his playstation here, though, so he should be fully occupied. I don't have much food, but. It's not like we'll be in here for days.

And Angelique got Chapter 18 of Origin back to me this morning, so that should be posted soon! *dances* I'm not quite done the epilogue yet, but the hard part is over. Whew.

I've also taken a slight detour on my writings. Um. It shouldn't slow down my other fics much, since I'm almost done it. It's another whacked-out crackfic, a sequel to Wherein Little Boys..., and really. I think I'm the only one who'll think it's funny. But I'll post it anyway, 'cause I'm cool like that. Should be done either today or tomorrow.

Mmmmmm... coffee. *nuzzles coffee*

I'm sharing too much, but hopefully you all won't mind:

Seamus stuck out his tongue, catching a few flakes as they melted. “Mmmm.”

Hermione sighed heavily and leaned into Harry, and the man wrapped an arm around her waist.

“All right?” he asked softly.

She nodded. “Sure.” And then a carriage rolled up, and Hermione thought that it wasn’t quite right that all three of them could see the Thestral pulling it.

Seamus stumbled over to the skittish animal, and before they could yank him back, the Irishman had an arm looped around the bony neck, his other hand patting the barrel chest firmly. “You an’ me, Jack. We’re a pair.” The Thestral snorted and bobbed its head, dancing slightly in place.

“Do they know each other?” Harry murmured in her ear.

Hermione shrugged, watching silently as the carriage door swung open and Neville jumped out onto the snow-packed road.

“Baby,” Seamus cried, slipping his arm off “Jack” to wrap it around Neville’s back, shoving his face into the other man’s neck.

Neville caught Seamus against him with both hands under his armpits, giving Harry and Hermione an apologetic grin over his boyfriend’s shoulder. “Sorry about this one. He’s usually better at holding his drink.”

“Don’t worry about it, Nev,” Harry said, hefting Hermione closer when her knees started to buckle. “Hermione isn’t much better off at the moment. Seems they went on a bit of a binge.”

Hermione snorted softly, but was entirely too exhausted to protest his words much.

EDIT: Is there something going on with Fanfiction.net?

Yay! Snippet! *snicker* Drunken Seamus. Don't know what's going on with ff.net, but I know that I'm not happier for the delay.
You wanna talk snow? I live in a city nicknamed Winterpeg. It's basically been snowing since New Year's Eve. And when it's not snowing, blizzarding, or freezing rain, the temperature (with the wind chill) is down to a lovely -40something degrees C.
I've got winter blaws bad.
Sorry for the rant,
Glyn
Yay! Nighthawk!

FF.net is seriously pissing me off!

Yeah, there's a discussion thread going on at FictionAlley about ff.net because there are a lot of frustrated people trying to get to their stories. Apparently there ff.net is moving to another server and problems are occuring? Some people can get on, others can't.
I wish I could frolic in the snow... there are large mountains in my front yard and virgin snow in the backyard waist high...stupid cold, stupid school, stupid work...It's a giant conspiracy to keep me from enjoying my youth.

EE! Snippet. Lovely snippet too. Poor Nev. I don't envy taking Seamus home. *grins*

And, ooh! I like your Crack fic crossover. But you know that. Cause Seamus loves a boybander. Seamus loves a boybander. Hehehe.

And as for FF.net. I can get stories, but I can't review. Which is why I have one to review when it lets me back in...eventually.

With our windchill it's like 8. I'm not stepping outta my house either. If we want to eat, we can order out. Seriously. Cold. I saw all about Philly on Fox News and felt bad for all the snow you've been getting up in the NE. Of course, I turned it off after a minute. Short attention span and all that. I missed Dogma too.

We do get snow. Light blankets and none today thankfully, but it does happen. Especially in late Feb and March. Usually we have ice storms though. The south maybe warm, but not in winter.

And that's a big plus. You'd just find another way, I'm sure, as opposed to finding your car.
