Quick update...

...since I promised myself I wouldn't post until I finished Don't Let's Start, chapter eight. It is very nearly close to being done, though, so I thought I could drop a line in and wave hello to my flisters *group huggle*

And now:


1. I have discovered I can't stomach Hermione smut. I just... can't picture her as a sex kitten. Sensual, possibly, in a nervous sort of leashed, tension-y way. UST and argumentative foreplay banter: a must, imo. But all out dirty smut? No. No thank you.

2. At the moment, I'm not enjoying Twilight of the Dawn. I've been putting off marking it up as 'on hiatus,' but I think it's time to say: Twilight will remain unfinished for the foreseeable future. Not forever. I haven't abandoned it. I just don't feel like forcing it, since that isn't any fun, and I like to have lots of fun with my writings.

3. I have not been working on my finniganfans January challenge, and Revenge is stalled for the current time. Haven't given up completely, but it isn't likely to be done soon.

And last, but certainly not least:

4. I in no way planned this, but it looks like Don't Let's Start, chapter eight, will be the last chapter. It just sort of... ended. I'm a little sad, because I at least expected a few more chapters out of it, but the boys stumbled into an ending and I couldn't talk them out of it. I'm going to miss writing it. But on the good side, it'll be my first finished chaptered story! (not counting Wayward Cupid, of course). And it'll also leave me open for another Ron/Draco adventure, yet to be determined.



Again, I ask you not to throw things at me. And to love me for all my faults. *begs prettily*

I hate finishing a story - especially when I didn't expect it to end! Sometimes the characters are just so damn stubborn! But I must say Kudos to you for your first completed chaptered fic!

I wanted to keep DLS light, so I didn't delve too deep into Lucius. I think I wrapped him up satisfactorially though. And Revenge... well, I think I might try it from a slightly different angle. I haven't given up yet! Twilight. I'm really starting to hate that story. That's the first time something like that has happened to me.

Gah. I so dislike Hermione smut. She just isn't smutty. Perogative and all, I suppose, since it's quite popular over at IATQOs, but you're right. She's up there with Percy in the restrained lust catagory.

Well, as long as the loose ends are tied up, I 'll let it go I suppose. And continue Revenge or I won't help you pick out characters... and I'll take away the Fork. You know I will! Twilight is a bit confusing. I must admit to not loving it too much.

Hermione smut is only plausible when Kaz writes it I think. Because she keeps the know-it-all in character and she just paired her with Percy, so it's all good in my book. Like I said in Shadows, he's rather...*thinks* selective and I think Hermione would be the same way.

She sniffed for a few moments, before plastering a smile on. “Well, we should head back into the lion’s den.” With a wave of her wand, their cups were placed in the sink. “Before we go in, know that I’ll stand for you and so will Seamus. You have support, if you need or want it.” A flounce in step showed that she was still angry with Ron, and he couldn’t wait to see the row that would happen at some point in the night. Hermione had grown up to be a strong witch, stronger than he could have imagined.

I must admit I'm curious as to why Hermione's so adamant about Percy being re-accepted into the family. I like how she's standing up for him, too.

1.)Hermione is definitely to smart to be a hoochie. I couldn't picture her being all naaasty. However, I think my stomach turned the same way when I first discovered R/D. I just thought, "ewww!" But now I'm a true believer.

2.)My heart is utterly broken. Don't Let's Start ending? So soon? The thing is, when you discover a story that's just so damn good, you never want it to end. I wasn't expecting the last page blues to come this early. :(
