So many great ideas yesterday! I'm back to feelin' some DT grooves, and had almost an entire installment written on the train last night :) Thanks for all your help!

And notice my lovely new Hogwarts in Space! icon... I made it cause it makes me and szm giggle.

I'm soaking wet. Of course it started pouring - pouring - as soon as I stepped off the train, and it's a ten minute walk to my office, and my umbrella was slightly broken. I had to wring out my socks, and now I'm barefoot under my desk. The worst is the trousers though. I hate wet trouser legs. Bleh. Stupid rain.

ETA: Did I mention before how much I love the Harlequin Romance Challenge over at sga_flashfic? (Well, I at least did over at house_of_pants) It is quite possibly the Best Challenge Evah!! No lie. Hands down my absolute favorite one to read the results of. Was there anything like this ever attempted for the Potter fandom? If not, I'm tempted to make it one over at oohsparkly (which I've been such a bad mod for *shakes head*) Would there be any interest?

There's been *so* many responses in *so* many fandomns -- it just translates so well! ::grins sheepishly:: In fact I cheated and used it as an excuse for a HP fund story I'm turning in for mynuet tomorrow. ::coughs:: Actually, I suppose the one DS I'm turning in for malpundl as well sorta counts. And, yep, rain sucks. I'm just off to grab my kid from school and, dude, it's *pouring*! ::heading back to lurkerville::

*grins* I don't know why I'd never thought of it myself... just take a super vague Harlequin plot and turn it into something completely different and sparkly... sounds right up my alley! I might try my hand at it, too :)

Ack. You have been tempting me for months to read some SGA, but I've never seen the show so I don't really want to read the fiction without reading the show. *sigh* But it just sounds so good...

OH! Updated ss_firebolt. It'll be at least a week for another one, though, because I'm going on vacation.

Which reminds me...on my To-Do list before my vacation...encourage Skoosie to update Don't Feed. *encourages* Because, man, it'd be awesome to have one (or two!) updates to read when I get back. Also on my To-Do list...then dance under the disco ball with Skoozie *dances under the shiny disco ball* Want to join me?

Also on my list is to post some Sparkly Boys pics, since it's going to be at least a week without me and/or my sparkly boys posts! Not up yet, but hey, you might want to check later today. *giggle*
