Dear Hypertension,

You suck so hard. I mean, what do you think you're doing? You said you'd leave me the hell alone if I took those pills, but, but... my coffee! I hate you. I wish you'd just die already and take your stinkin' fruit and vegetables and exercise with you.

phffffft,
SP

Dear Coffee,

I love you. I *points to self* love you *points to mug*

Never forget that.

xoxoxoxo,
Skoosie

I was like a zombie yesterday, and today probably won't be much better. I was planning on updating DT and my brain just wouldn't focus on anything. It was horrible!

I'm taking a lesson from you on hypertension vs coffee. Just got myself addicted to coffee this winter and I have a long family history of hypertension. I absolutely love your quote, "I wish you'd just die already and take your stinkin' fruit and vegetables and exercise with you."

Good luck on getting that shit down. Don't go on Atkins and you should be fine.

a long family history of hypertension. Same here, dude. It sucks. I've been managing it with these pills for almost two years, and then all of sudden it's jacked back up again. Bleh.

New Edition? Bleh.

Replace coffee with caffeine in general and I'm sold on the song.

Eugh. EUGH.

Really? That is torture. Salt I could handle, but if I was addicted to coffee I'd be so pissed. Poor skoosie.

I've halved it, so I'm getting some reg coffee into my system... just apparently not enough to function correctly.

So... I need a new SGA plot. I want to try my hand at a canon ancient-tech goes wrong sort of fic. Any ideas/suggestions?

Does rodney still have the ancient gene from episode two, hide and seek? You can make him accidentally activate something that ends up going wrong and sucking his energy out or going crazy. or that makes him disappear within stargate and they all go crazy trying to find him. Or something.

the problem I'm finding is that nearly everything has been done before and done to death. it's hard to find something that's fresh. *pouts*

Hmmmm... it sounds familiar. damn it, it's all been done! I think I might just have to go with something overdone and try and twist it into something new. *ponders*

okay, wow. houseplant. supposedly dead ancient plant switching places with someone, and nobody notices even though he's more silent and wide-eyed than usual OH MY GOD! You are a genius! Has this been done? Why does it sound so darn familiar? Can I do it anyway??????!

i can't offer pearls of wisdom or words of sympathy or whatever you need here, since i am a long, long ago reformed coffee drinker and i've forgotten what the addiction was even like. BUT!

one of my friends is writing some crap about HP fanfic for her uni paper, and as me pimping 'Stranded' to her was her first enjoyable foray into the fic world, she wants to quote from it. what are your thoughts on the matter?

(also, i finally wrote my fic. i hates it.)

it's bad, bad pre-smut millicent/pansy and i dislikes it. it's in [livejournal.com profile] tamlane's Valentine's day challenge. Tam says she likes it; I'm never sure if she's just being encouraging.

cheers for the quoting rights. Perhaps she will send you a copy when she's done.
