skoosiepantsSo, um. *waves* For my birthday next week? I'm requesting my favorite fanfic weakness, because in my old age I need to indulge some.
For all the crack I write, my favorite thing ever to read, is hurt/comfort angst with happy endings. Like Chaps1870's Deprivation? I've reread that about five times *loves*
I would love you for all enternity if someone would write me a Rodney/John fic like this, with Rodney whumping, because there is seriously not enough of it out there. I can't write it myself. It's not in my bones, apparently, 'cause lord knows I've tried. So please? Anyone? Multiple someones? *begs prettily*
I'm also up for recs of already written stuff like this.

And it seems that either the genre is looked down upon just for being what it is, or maybe it's that most of the fic in this genre is so bad--which doesn't matter, because I'll read ANYTHING with massive h/c angst and a happy ending, even if Rodney falls to his knees and weeps at the end of every chapter. Maybe especially then. :X
