Scary plot bunnies that appear in the middle of the night...

I've updated my fic recs list! Three popslash fics and one Harry Potter. The HP one is actually an old favorite that I'd completely forgotten about. I hate when that happens. I'm still scrounging around for more, though, since reccing is so much fun!

The past two nights I've been up till like two or three, just reading and writing some, and last night I was attacked by the oddest idea. That actually sprung a second idea. And I don't know if I'll ever go through with them, because, honestly, half the fun was casting them. *giggle*



I happen to be very huge fan of Hogan's Heroes. Seriously. Come on, the Hogan's Heroes idea is inspired, isn't it? I mean, I could totally take the whole war scenerio, a bunch of Order operatives stuck in a Death Eater prison, run by the idiotic Lucius Malfoy (or someone else; haven't hit on the perfect Klink yet) with Goyle Sr. as "I-see-nothing!" Schultz.

Tentatively, I'm listing the characters as follows:

Gabrielle Delacour (Le Beau)
Dean Thomas (Kinch)
Colin Creevey (Carter)
Oliver Wood (Newkirk)
Charlie Weasley (Hogan)

My second idea: The A-Team. Only, it'll be made up entirely of Slytherins who defected the Dark, and they don't really want to help you, but they really will take your money. Col. Decker will have to be Lucius Malfoy.

Tentative cast:

Draco Malfoy (John "Hannibal" I-love-it-when-a-plan-comes together Smith)
Blaise Zabini (Faceman - come on, slick pretty face?)
Marcus Flint (BA Baracus - although the personality is right, BA is really afraid of flying and Flint, well... I could always write him as having a really bad accident and being afraid now. Goyle has the mass, but not the brains to be BA.)
Theodore Nott (Howling Mad Murdock - I was going to make Colin or Dennis Murdock, but wanted to keep it all Slytherin, or least all who would have conceivably been part of the Dark forces.)
Pansy Parkinson (the pretty trophy female of the group)

Both of these would probably take a lot of research work. Well, maybe the HH one more than the A-Team. Might be a fun winter project, though. We'll see! I have lots and lots of other fics to update :)

I can understand the A Team one, but no idea on the HH one. You have issues, girl. I need to be inspired for one. I might try and work on my Cordelia crossover one.

I would have to set up some sort of underground spy network for the HH one to work. Would be a great deal more complicated than a bunch of Slytherins on the run and getting paid to beat up people :)

My knowledge of old tv shows stems from excesive Nick-at-nite watching when I was younger, plus a brother who insisted on making me watch Magnum PI, the Fall Guy, Knight Rider, etc...

My muse is equally at large. Thus the wacky, half-arsed plot bunnies

I watched Magnum because Mama crushed on Selleck. I liked Green Acres, Patty Duke Show, Bewitched, Mr. Ed growing up on Nick-at-Nite.

You're muse has captured mine, I think. She was around for a minute and gave me a CRAPPY drabble and I promptly deleted it. I need to work on Ginny/Blaise for Christmas (since that's what people seem to want to read) and she just...left.

My Commune Love Story is still going strong, however there really isn't a plot to it, and it's mostly rambly. I have no clue how to end it :)

That's just about the only thing working right now though!

I'm not even sure it's good for Rid. It might possibly be for LJ eyes only. The important thing is that I'm having fun with it though.

Do you need a challenge to kickstart you? I might be able to scrounge one up for you.

I think I do need a challenge. I'm stumped, which sucks cause I wanna write. Dreary weather is perfect for writing. If my muse would come back.
