skoosiepants: (Ernie - MINE!)
[personal profile] skoosiepants
And happy Sunday to those that don't.

Ever notice that I never have anything worthwhile to post about? Hmmmm.

So, I'm writing SGA/Bandslash right, and [livejournal.com profile] d_copper goes OMG, ERNIE! and Ernie is so not in this, he's really not, except, dudes, Brendon and Ernie? BFFs. Total BFFs and Rodney's all jealous, because Ernie only really loves HIM and maybe John, but it was, like, love at first sight for Brendon. Brendon just spots him hiding behind Chuck's rolly chair when the Daedalus beams them down, clacking his voicebox and that really cool thick pen with the kittens all over it, and maybe his mickey mouse one, too, just because that's his favorite, and Ernie says, "Mine!" really, really loud when he catches Brendon staring because seriously, Brendon looks like he might be into shiny things, too, and Ernie's torn between bonding with him over this and establishing his dominance as Shiny Foil and Pen collector extrodinare. But Brendon's all, "Oh my god, is that a furry octopus?" and Ernie likes his voice, so he comes out from behind Chuck and he's all, "Mine? Mine, mine, mine," just to make sure Brendon knows not to take his pens and Ryan knocks Brendon's shoulder and says, "Dude, he speaks Urie."

So Ernie starts. Not following Brendon, because he only ever follows Rodney and John and sometimes Radek or Ronon, but he hangs around him in the lab, and sometimes he waves a pen when he catches Brendon's eye, almost like he's beckoning him over, and one time Brendon takes him up on his invite and sits crosslegged on the floor by Ernie's basket, and Ernie spends like a half-hour going through all his pens with a soft, "mine, mine, mine," over and over again, and Brendon makes appropriate impressed noises and then hums along a little, which makes Ernie pause and blink up at him with his four eyes, and then Brendon stops humming, only Ernie wants him to hum, so he bangs his knee with the sparkly gel pen Radek gave him until Brendon gets with the program and starts humming again, and then singing a little, just loud enough for Ernie to hear. Ernie just sits and stares at him and wraps a tentacle around his wrist and taps a pen on the floor to kind of keep the beat.

And then at some point Ernie just maneuvers his way into Brendon's lap, and Brendon's not sure what to do, since he's kind of done looking at Ernie's pens and shiny bits of foil and pieces of Ancient tech that're stuffed under the USAF tee and Brendon's not sure McKay even knows they're there, but Ernie's sort of wrapped around him and won't let go.

And oh my god, throw Temp in that mix and I just might explode from the cuteness, seriously.

Let's try this again without errors!

and you can imagine Booth being pushed into the ocean, can't you? Or Rodney. *laugh* Someone would hit the ocean with those two around.

Yes! Booth in the ocean! I can't decide if I want John or Ronon to dive in and save him. Or Teyla!

Oh, sleep. Sadly, I don't get the awesome fannish dreams other people do. Not recently anyway. When I was younger there was that one about building birdhouses with the Ninja Turtles;)

I think Teyla would be awesome in trying to save him. Booth would be spurting over that. And Ronon'd be laughing at him. You know he'd busting a gut. Teyla's nothing like Bones.

I had an SG-1 dream awhile back. Nightmare really, since I was scared, panicking in my dream. The Goa'uld were trying to put a snake in my head. I couldn't wake up, no matter how hard I tried, and no one could save me in the dream. Well, not SG-1 anyone. I don't get the good dreams. Just the scary ass nightmares that makes you wanna cry and hide.

Hee, yes, Ronon would die laughing! John would be (manfully) giggling and trying to hide it because he and Booth *bonded*.

No fair on nightmares! SGA-1 should have rescued you!

He'd be hiding behind Rodney. Especially if Bones was piping mad. Ronon wouldn't care because he could just pick her up and place her elsewhere.

No, no. This was at the SGC, so it was SG-1 that didn't save me. They kinda went "Eh" and then were fighting some other big bad. I have vague memories of Jackson and Jack being there. So it must have been one of those seasons, but I think Cam and Vala were there too.

I have a weird imagination.

I would *love* for a scene with Ronon picking up and moving Bones. She'd squawk and scold Booth for not helping her, and he'd just look at the size of Ronon and shrug at her.

See, this is why it should have been SGA-1. Because they *would* have rescued you. Shame on SG1!

I would, too. It'd be awesome. I mean, she's teeny in comparision. That'd be *perfect.* Booth would be like, "I can shoot him for you" but wouldn't try and win a wrestling match. He'd just pretend Ronon was a scary ice cream truck head. *grins* And then remember how well therapy's going and go, "...yeah, no."

Jackson's just pouting cause I wanted him to stay dead and keep Jonas.

Booth would tell John about the ice cream truck thing, and John would totally understand. He hates clowns. Then Booth would explain how his awesome therapist was helping him, and John would be skeptical (sp?) and introduce him to Kate. Booth would be horrified and promise to take John to *his* shrink when he next visited Earth. Who would promptly tell John that he's in love with his best friend. Yes.

OMG thought! Booth and John could bond over quietly rebelling against "the man"! Booth's belt buckles, ties, and socks, and John's hair and gay love for Rodney! Well, maybe not that last part until after the therapist visit;)

Oh, yeah. Because you know John's shot at something for his issues. Probably Rodney. *snort* And Kate would look at Booth and thank her lucky stars that she doesn't have to deal with this guy that refuses to admit he's in love with his partner. Nope, she has her own handfuls with the Idiot Train, also known as the expedition. I mean, think about it. Rodney's enough to foist on one person. And Booth would have no clue that she was doing a little jig in her head. Don't frighten the monkeys in cages and all.

Ohh! Yeah, that hair? Totally a rebellion. And, if fanon's believed, making Lorne does his paperwork. *grins* The last part has to wait; maybe John and Booth'd go out drinking Earthside and when John got drunk, he'd spill the beans and Booth'd go (in his own way) 'Well, duh.' Then they'd talk about how the REAL therapist rocked hardcore.

Hey, maybe they'd rediscover the Chinese restaurant that went all disappeary. Ohh, and, since they're in DC, they could accidentally run into someone connected to the SGC (not necessarily SG-1, maybe someone like the Wormhole X-Treme guy, Marty or whatever). I mean, hub and all that. Or! Or! Hammond, which would be all kinds of rocking cause he's very gruff like Booth. *nods*

Where's that therapist I can borrow?

It's just the same since Bones isn't all invading his space. Just not quite as fun. Besides, everyone goes to diners. The Chinese place was just cool.

Hammond would be great. Especially if you gave him some of Don's mannerisms, like say, drinking. *grins*

You can have second crack, but I don't know how well you'd do. What with me being crazier than McCrazy.

Exactly! That's what I like about Bones, it's *different*.

If you're crazier than McCrazy, then I should be a breeze for him! Really, I just feel like ranting sometimes, and if it's to a therapist, it's totally justified! Because it's part of your therapy. *nods wisely*

It really is. Because you don't expect the characters to be who they are. Though, I gotta admit, I miss the other guy, the one before Cam, more.

Exactly! You'll be a nice break from the crazy. You're just semi-crazy. Cause the crazy people wouldn't build a statue of you, to represent them. And ranting to therapists is fun because they can't say anything about it. *dances* Though, I've found most therapist? Dead stupid.

Sorry it took me so long to reply.

I totally miss the first Jeffersonian boss guy too! He was just so stuffy and fun!

Yes, I'm just a little crazy. More so than my real life friends know. *looks shifty* Although, since they don't understand me like you wonderful people, maybe more crazy.

Anyway, if I ever need a therapist I'll try to find a smart one like Booth's!

He was nice and stuffy! And he could back. It's not like Justice survived or anything.

It's okay. You still can't be in the land of crazy like me. I mean, you know it's like my middle name. Hey, no one understands me, so maybe it's not just you. *grins*

I want Booth's therapist, even if he is a nutcase himself. *nods*

I loved the old!BonesBoss. More than Cam.

I love how not only Booth adores him, but *everyone* does. Like they all gather round to ask and get help.

I'll help you take people down. I'm just thrilled Smallville'll be back, and a Chloe episode that might have *gasp* anything to do with Clark/Lana for once.

Yes! Booth!therapist (what *is* his name?) should be a kindly advice giver for everyone. He needs to be in at least every 3rd or 4th episode.

I'm hoping you meant it might *NOT* have anything to do with Clark/Lana! I'm so glad you're a fellow Chloe-lover/Lana-hater! I swear, the only reason I still watch Smallville is for Chloe and once-a-season awesome episodes like the Justice League show.

I forgotted his name. It's been too long since he's been on. Stupid show! I think he really needs to advise the Jeffersonian group. Badly. He'd have a lifetime supply of money pouring in. *grins*

Oh, yeah, I did. I HATE Clark/Lana. I stopped watching for two years *because* of it. Lana could have been better, but she's all simpering mess that couldn't find her way out of a two ended open box. She just waits to be rescued. Her and Lois, Little Miss Airheaded Sunshine. They both make me want to hit something. Chloe should have her own episode. Especially since finding out she's a freak...in a CHLOE centric episode that was all about Lana anyway. Lana could have been an awesome addition, a balance of real life without knowing his secret, but being strong. They're Mary Sued her so much now that it's not feasible. Like, this whole thing with Lex and Clark, back and forth. Ugh. Enough, people! Let her go to Gotham for awhile or something, maybe two seasons and come back harder, stronger.

I LOVE the Justice League episodes. Especially the big explodey one this season. But then, I like Green Arrow as a mentor of sorts for Clark. And that he can kinda stick around with the other heroes. And, well, I DID love the Chloe sidekick comment.

The show just drags crap on for too long. We get it, and....move on. I'm still baffled how anyone thought "Crimson" was a good episode. And the "Labyrinth" one was a bad copy of SGA and Buffy episodes combined...with a bit of Charmed thrown in for more cliches. Ick.

*uses only SV icon I have*

YES YES YES EXACTLY!

I also *hate* Lana and Lois! Actually, my hatred for Lois dates back to the animated Superman cartoon where she insisted on wearing high heels and a short skirt and always ended up hanging from a freakin' clock!

I adore Chloe. I used to want Clark to fall for her, only because she loved him, but now I'm convinced he's not good enough for her. There's this great fic series pairing her and Wally West. So for Smallville, I'd love to see her with Bart;) And I'm dying to know what krypto-powers she has! There are a few mutants who didn't go crazy, she could totally be one of those.

Oh, they called Chloe Oracle and I just about *died* in that episode!

Yes! That type of show is everywhere! SGA, Buffy, and Charmed! It's sooo old.

And a very pretty icon it is;)

*grins* I actually, uh, don't know much about Superman, except Dean Cain was hot, and he's been played by George Reeves (I think that was his name) and Christopher Reeves. I think I remember the animated show, if it's the one that looked like all the ones around the mid to late 90s. Used to play on the WB afternoons as well as weekend mornings. I think.

I used to want Clark and Chloe together, but then I realized he was stupid as hell and didn't deserve her. Of course, it doesn't help that Martha and Chloe keep saying "Don't go after her" and "Go after her! Save her!" about Lana. *shake head* And this Lois is pathetic. I can't see her as the ace reporter. Bringing her in was a stupid moved on the powers part.

Who's Wally West? I wonder what the powers are too, because it must have happened at the end of last season. Since she's been infected enough times by the green rocks enough that it should have shown.

Oracle...wasn't that not!Batgirl's name on "Birds of Prey"? (Shuddup, I liked it.)

The show is everywhere, and the bad part was that it didn't take a different spin, like Buffy's did. Charmed looked just like Buffy's, and SGA's was a liiiittle different. Enough, to make it stand out on it's own.

Ah, well. I watched Passions for Justin. I couldn't say now to leather clad Justin this season. ;)

Yep, that's the cartoon. I *love* the Batman animated one;)

This Lois is soooo pathetic. I actually liked the idea floating around that something happened and Chloe "became" Lois Lane. Made more sense.

Wally West! He's the current Flash in DC comics. That first episode with Bart? All of the names on his fake ideas were people who were the Flash before him. Jay Garrick, Barry Allen, and Wally West. Bart Allen in the comics is Kid Flash, from the future. (That's why I ADORE the line where he tells Chloe that he ran back in time to tell her they're still in love in the future:)

Oracle is Barbara Gorden, the ex-Batgirl in comics. She's now a computer whiz who helps Batman and the JL research and organize rescues. Chloe should totally be their Oracle!

Yes, Justin is pretty;)

(Pardon my break, I had to watch Drive. Cars, racing wars, and pretty people. Hell yeah, I'll watch that.)

I liked the Batman in the future, the one where Bat was getting the replacement. "Batman and Beyond" or whatever.

This Lois is dumber than a box of rocks sliding down a muddy hill. She never does anything involving brain cells. And c'mon now. She's kissed 3 of the 5 Leaguers. That's just...wrong, man. It's a good thing FlashImpulse has a thing for her cousin and isn't getting sucked into the vortex. I'm just waiting for Cyborg. Give it a couple episodes, I'm sure it'll happen.

I'm not convinced they weren't gonna go the Chloe is Lois until they got the chance for a "real" Lois.

Ohh! Wally's on that long list of names. Okay. I gotcha. *grins* She should get Bart. At least he's gotta brain. He sees a fine woman in front of him. ;) I still wanted Chloe/Oliver, though. That'd been hot. Better than Lois.

Okay, so I was right. Go me! Didn't like the Joker shoot her or something? I think that was the premise of the character on BoP, and Huntress was Batman and Catwoman's kid. Chloe would be an AWESOME Oracle. She's smarter than most people. (Jimmy so doesn't deserve her.)

Justin was prettier on Passions when he was shirtless all the time. *grins*
