* So I completely flaked on J's cousin's fiance's bridal shower yesterday. I was kicking myself and felt like SUCH a jackass, and then we talked to J's mom today and apparently the bridal shower never happened, because the wedding is called off! So, two things. Yay for me not being a jackass! But boo for whoever was supposed to tell me, because if I hadn't forgotten, I woulda shown up all by my lonesome.

* J's jeep was broken into last night. We lost his iPod, his stereo, and his SCHOOL BAG. Weirdly, it's his school bag that is the most heartbreaking, because it basically had every important paper that he'll ever need for class. He's pretty much expecting to fail out now. It's a steam fitter union class, he's three years in, and I will cry like a tiny Brendon Urie if he fails out. That's pretty much our entire future right there. So. Fun.

* If we're talking short boys in bands, who would be on that list? Let's say I need seven *twiddles thumbs* and that all the Panic! boys are out of the running. So far I've got Pete, Patrick, Andy, Joe and Frank.

Niiiiice, they can remember a cousin six times removed, but not their own kid. Luckily godmom's cousin called and found out. Mama called us at 11pm Saturday and goes "Oh, I'm sorry! While you got lucky on the bridal shower scene, the break-in totally fucking sucks. Why the fuck would anyone take a school bag? J must some kind of genius writer to have them that valuable. I really, really hope he doesn't fail out of the thing too- has he talked to his teacher? Will they understand? And if they don't, where do they live so I can kick them in the shins? *sigh* I hope things work out for the best.

Speaking of Pete, Patrick, Andy and Joe: OMGFTW I totally saw them last night in concert! It was really, really, really, really good. My arms are sore from doing the rock hand thing all night, my ankles are like, killing me from jumping around, and let me tell you, I smelled wonderful by the end of it, but oh, man, they are so pretty, and sound so fucking good live its not even funny.

And okay, look. You know how we all coo over Patrick and talk about how tiny and adorable he is? It's true, don't get me wrong. What people fail to mention is that he turns into the sexiest living thing in the universe when he is on stage. I'm serious. I could hardly keep my eyes off him to watch Pete and Joe and Andy. He's. nnnnnrgh. That pretty much sums it up.

In other news: Gabe Saporta is a mad dancing thing! His shirt flies up a lot but as long as your with the cobra, Gabe don't care. And William Beckett be very, very pretty. And he actually sings like he does on the albums, y'know? His voice is that good.

Given the fact that it is broken into and I assume you have reported it to the police, can you not ask J's lecturers for extensions of time or for some kind of consideration? I assume most teaching facilities do not want their students to fail.
