she talked, she just asked questions and was in scenes which she totally wasn't needed. She's neither science nor a military leader, unless you count the athosians, which aren't even *there* anymore. I don't know, I think I'm just getting sick of her character, or at least sick of what they're doing with her!
I'm tired of the boys club feel of the show. The girls have proven themselves before. Teyla can follow Rodney's basic notions about science, but that's forgotten for more boy screen time.
I just get tired of the "No girls allowed" feel. Like the girls are superlative. I don't mind Not!Kaylee, but I'm not a fan yet either. I mean, I liked her bedside manner, but I think her age is putting me off. She looks like 12. It's hard connecting her to chief of staff, or whatever they call it.
what is putting me off is how they made it like she was there all along, when we haven't seen or heard of her ourselves. I guess there wasn't much else to do, except maybe add her in episodes BEFORE Carson got blown up. I mean, it would've seemed more planned out. It's almost like they decided last minute HEY LET'S GET RID OF CARSON OKAY YEAH!
I've always assumed that was what they did do. I wasn't a fan of Carson much, but it just seems weird how they're not integrating the new cast and how they're taking the old out.
It seems very arbitrary. Weir's is a little less jarring than Carson's, only because it looks like she's just going to become a replicator or something? And how guilty will Rodney, feel, right?
It's very abitrary. But honestly, I'm more jarred by Weir than Carson. Carson I expected to die eventually. But not that Weir would become a Replicator. It just seemed odd how it all happened.
Honestly, I'm tired of the Rodney Hour on SGA. But that's just me.
See, I like Shep. But that's because he's less ADHD and vibrating everywhere. I used to like Rodney, I did. I just don't like it when other characters get less development for the male mary sue of the show.
