* One of our geckos is loose in the house! J is very upset that we can't find her. I just hope the cats haven't gotten a hold of her.

* Whenever I'm down, I like to listen to ABBA's Fernando. Shut up, it's awesome.

* My brother is trying to incite J into a beard-off. Hee.

* I think someone should write me a Valley Girl AU. Characters of your choosing, okay, but I wouldn't say no to some AAR shenanigans.

* Teen Witch AU is coming along swimmingly, even though work has been so crazy busy I haven't had anytime to properly sit down and write. Most of it is scenes sketched out in my notebook on the train, but it still works.

* Also, holy crap, how much do I want to write a Jon quits the band and moves to Hawaii fic? Really, really badly, that's how much. I mean, I know I mentioned it a few months ago, but I just got hit with the opening scene last night, so it may actually get written.

* Hey, hey! In March I can post my Duet Press SGA fic! That's kind of exciting?

* Moose has now learned how to jump the fence. So, yeah. There's just no keeping him in the yard. It kind of makes me want to weep brokenly.

* So I know this happened last week or whatever, a while ago, but who else is truly mourning Panic's exclamation point? It was so much fun! And quirky! And, okay, sure, it's fine that they want to take it out, but protesting that they never wanted to use it after using it constantly is just lame. Fess up, you totally loved the ! at one point! Also: I do not understand Spencer's lack of color. I just. I don't. I miss your tiny rainbow tee's Spence! And the little hoodies! I DON'T GET IT.

OH OH!! What I want now is totally a fic where Brendon is puzzling out Spencer's new wardrobe, because you know he's totally missing Spencer's girly side!! They used to do each other's hair! Now Spencer only wants to hang out with Jon and do manly things like smoke cigars and go to hockey games and watch UFC and straight porn, what the hell?

Brendon keeps interrupting all their manly fun and he's even more annoying than usual because he wants Spencer to PAY ATTENTION TO HIM ALREADY GEEZ and Spencer gets fed up with his octopus like limbs and shoves him off the couch and sort of yells and Spencer never yells, and Brendon gets all quiet and big-eyed and he slinks off to the bunks and Ryan totally calls Spencer on being an asshole, because Brendon obviously misses him and just needs some quality Spencer time and Spencer looks at Jon, because Jon will totally back him up on agreeing with him about how fucking annoying Brendon is, but Jon just says, "Not cool, Spence," shaking his head.

So there's angst! Brendon is hurt and confused, and Spencer tries to make it up to him by, like, giving him coffee even though he's not allowed to have coffee, and Brendon gives him a little smile but it's, like, a shadow of his normal one, and it doesn't quite reach his eyes, and Spencer DOESN'T KNOW HOW TO MAKE IT BETTER.

AND NOW I WANT TO ACTUALLY WRITE THIS.

Chevy Chase, right? I have no idea. It was good! And they were going to get divorced, except then they didn't, because dealing with the townspeople while trying to sell the farm brings them back together or something, and at the end of the movie it turns out the wife is pregnant? I might be splicing 80s movies together in my head, but whatever.

I can't remember about the pregnancy, but the rest sounds just right. I love Chevy Chase, all his movies are just hilarious :)
