No, wait, really, DOM AND BRIAN ON ATLANTIS. MAKE THIS HAPPEN. BRIAN CAN BE IOA!!!! DOM CAN BE A MARINE! THEY RACE PUDDLEJUMPERS OR SOMETHING, WORK WITH ME HERE!!

In other news: I'm two half-scenes away from finishing up Hobo Joe \O/

WHY AREN'T YOU WRITING THIS????!!!!

Now I AM, no thanks to you! I have four other stories to work on! I'm hip-deep in plotbunnies, including the one where Dom opens up a racing school for rich young Spring Breakers in Mexico, and Brian ends up helping him run the thing (and keeping him from smacking young Billsely Wentworth III into next month from sheer aggravation), and they get caught up in a kidnapping scheme and end up driving cars really fast (as you do) and rescuing the young fellow, who sweeps Mia off her feet and leaves Dom and Brian free and clear to finally admit that they are RIDICULOUSLY STUPIDLY IN LOVE WITH EACH OTHER.

*takes a deep breath*

Whew. See, and now I have to remember SGA, which I haven't watched in YEARS. Seriously, the last eps I watched involved the supply ship finally reaching them from Earth, and the surrounding mayhem.

I AM GRINNING LIKE A LOON!! dude, you have NO IDEA how happy I am that you're writing Brian/Dom, this fandom is suffering from lack of fic!!!

When I first started reading in the fandom I was SO SHOCKED by how much fic there was, just 'cause I wasn't used seeing so much for just one movie (or two, by then). Even now, the list of epic long awesome fic amazes me. BUT--and I say this very seriously--now that there is a fourth movie there needs to be AT LEAST TWICE AS MUCH.

Brian. Dom. Brian and Dom TOGETHER AGAIN. I'm not proud, I'm perfectly willing to beg! I've actually got a full list of recs, both old stories and the few new ones I've found, at my Fast and Furious tag (http://apetslife.livejournal.com/tag/f%26f) on my LJ (all unlocked). I've tried really hard to find as much of the good stuff as I can.

Still. WE NEED MORE! (also, I really, really don't know shit about SGA. I'm gonna have to do RESEARCH or something. Woe!)

YAAAAY and you are very very welcome! I've tried to link just about everything I've found so far, and will keep doing so as I go. I'm living in hope of coming across the Next Great Epic. Any day now it's gonna happen. Yep. Definitely. For sure!

Oooh man, another great icon of yours. You've got some beauties!

you're right, it's not that there isn't A LOT of fic, it's just that I devoured it all so quickly and now I have hardly anything left to read!!!! there needs to be SO MUCH MORE.

omg, I'm writing a tiny little crack au - Brian O'Connor: undercover hall monitor. It's going to suck so hard but it's making me giggle.

YAAAAY!

Seriously, I watched SGA for the first two seasons, but I don't get the SciFi channel so I kind of drifted away from it, and have totally lost any semblance of knowledge of the canon.

Of course, this doesn't stop me from my standard approach of MSU (Making Shit Up), but I do try to at least ATTEMPT some kind of verissimilitude when it comes to setting crossovers in a believable universe...if you randomly get an email from me going "okay, what exactly would you CALL someone in SGA whose job was to mind the puddlejumpers?" this would be why. You've been warned. HEEEEE.

THERE NEEDS TO BE SO VERY MUCH MORE FIC! I just posted a comment above with the link to my F&F tag (TONS of recs); there's so much good stuff out there, but now that the new movie's out we need mooooooooore. Much much more!

Dude, I've been going through delicious and [livejournal.com profile] norah's recs for the last *checks LJ* three and a half weeks. And ahaha, I just came back from your F&F tag and I've seriously read most of those stories already.

(I might have to keep an eye on your journal, for more recs and general F&F squeeage. Um, that was supposed to sounds about 97% less stalker-y.)

We need more epics. And while we're waiting for those, I'm just going to have to reread Rewind. Yis.

EVERYTHING by Khal is just awesome. I've found a few hidden gems here and there--the genderswap one, and the crossover with Supernatural, and the highschool AU--but NEEDS MOAR EPICS. Definitely.

I wonder, are fic writers bribe-able?

I think I still have a story or two by Khal that I haven't read. I'm trying to save them up and savor them, but it's not easy!

I read the high school AU! And it made me crave more high school AUs.

I wonder, are fic writers bribe-able?
They should be! And we should definitely give it a shot.

ps: Have you read this one? It's one of my very favorites.

I have read that one! I LOVE it. Love love love.

Khal's stuff is totally worth lingering over and savoring, for sure. And I just started rereading "Unfinished Business," and I'm remembering all over again how much I adore that entire universe. *happysigh* Then, with all of Gwyn's stuff (http://www.drizzle.com/~gwyneth/fic_tfatf.html) I know we should be immensely grateful for all these good long stories...

...and yet I remain greedy! HEE!

It's such a fabulous story! \o/

My first reading of the UB-verse was a total delight. I couldn't choose if I wanted to breeze through all the stories at top speed or whether to go with the more scenic route, so it became a bit of a combination of the two.

And Gwyn's stories really hit a ton of my buttons. I just reread my favorite parts of Ciudad de Estrellas the other day.

....but yes: where are those epics? They should be hiding around here somewhere.
