Some things and a meme

skoosiepantsSummer Challenge stories and poll will be up Monday! So get your voting fingers ready!! Sadly, we only have four stories - which I blame equally the unfortunate turn of events in HBP and my abismal hosting skills. I suck at maintaing stuff.
And now! On to that 20 random things meme which was going around at some point... I'm pretty slow on the uptake.
1) I am actually not fond of cheese. However, I love saying/writing the word. This is also true of monkeys.
2) My rabbit's named after Happy Gilmore - though she is a she and her actual full name is Happiness J Gilmore. And for those of you confused (although, really?), Gilmore is not my last name, but an Adam Sandler character.
3) I hate having my neck touched. My neck is an untouchable zone. I even sleep with my blankies (yes, I still sleep with blankies) tucked up around my neck, as they are a magic shield to keep away vampires.
4) I own my own house and live with J, who drives me crazy yet I love him. Even though he is a slob. (mostly because he cooks, and I hate cooking *grins*)

lincolnkw's default icon. It always makes me smile and stare for a moment when I see it on my flist. And once, he mentioned changing it and I was going to comment NOOOOOOOOO! but I didn't. But, hey. *waves to lincolnkw* Dude, your icon rocks.
6) I forget to eat. A lot.
7) I have my ears pierced, but never wear earrings. Funnily enough, they never close up. I haven't worn a pair since *thinks* 2003?
8) my favorite color is orange.
9) I bought a shoofly pie today. Best pie ever.
10) I have a horded stash of NSYNC wrapping paper.
11) I have a BA in English Lit, and a minor in creative writing.
12) I used to keep a "Mental Word List" of words that were cool to say, but I kept forgeting them all.
13) I think the new BsB CD is just... awesomeness. This ups my coolness factor by like a trillion.
14) J said he first knew he loved me when I told him that "a house party wasn't a house party without Kid 'n Play."
15) I don't just randomly do The Robot on LJ... I do it in RL, too.
16) I will watch anything with Pauly Shore in it. Dude, Pauly Shore has got mad skills. Weeea-sel!
17) Swans Crossing anyone?
18) For all the pr0n I write, I'm surprisingly vanilla. I have no kinks, and most everything daring/risky turns me off.
19) I am extremely spoiled.
20) I hate cutting my toe nails (read: I never cut my toe nails)
Weeeeeeeeeeee! fun right? Took me way too long cause I kept getting sidetracked. I'm supposed to tag people the number of minutes it took me or some such rot. But, eh *shrugs*

Date: 2005-09-18 11:08 am (UTC)And I also have a BA in literature, though not specifically English lit. I don't do much with it, as my minors in history and journalism have turned out to be at least as important to my career, if not more. Still, English majors yay!

Date: 2005-09-18 06:27 pm (UTC)I do absotutely nothing with my degree. I code html. I used to edit a bit, but now I'm completely out of that, so. At least it helps me in my hobbies! And maybe, someday, I will actually write something that I can make money on *grins*
