Does anyone know what happened to the House Rivalry site? I used to have fics posted there, but it looks like it's down? And I'm so unobservant I'm sure it's been down for a while and I'm just now noticing *nods*

Oh! And Happy Turkey Day! *gobble gobble* *loves turkey meat*

*sigh* How I wish for the days of the Comedy Central MST 3K Turkey Day marathons. I used to spend all T-day in front of the TV with Joel (or Mike) and the Bots. Good times, good times.

I am also very jealous of all of you who've seen the new SGA ep. I can't wait 'til January!!!

Hiya... I'm actually the new webmistress of HR and the new site (http://houserivalry.dtenshi.net/) was changed about a month ago. (I think Kaz (the previous wm) was supposed to email all the authors about that!)

ANYWAY, our new host was hacked about 2 weeks ago and she is having a spot of trouble redoing the database, but the stories are all there and saved... luckily! And she says that it should only be a few more days until she can fix everything. ;) (BTW -- You are one of my faves. I am the D/G reccer over at [livejournal.com profile] rec50 and I have already rec'd 2 of your stories! ;)

Hallo! Thanks for the info on HR! I was all bummed about it being taken down, so good to know that everything is still saved *grins*

And thanks for the recs! That's awesome :) Glad you enjoy my stuff

Happy Thanksgiving to you my dear American friend. (My ever-so-useful diary notified me that today was the all-important day, so I would have mentioned it even if you hadn't!)

Thanks to you and all your brilliant fic-recs over at house of pants, I am now an avid McKay/Sheppard shipper. And I've even got as far as watching SGA. I got as far as the whole Ford's enzyme addiction thingy, but I've managed to miss all the new episodes they aired after that. I think the last one I saw was Runner...

Jeez, John's hot! Does his hair ever NOT do that whole sexy/messy thing?! Some of his chracterisations in fanfics reminds me of Harry in some ways....what with the messy hair and overall cuteness.... Totally love Rodney too.

My friend keeps looking at me funny, coz everytime we talk about possible pairings on the show, I always flail around insisting John and Rodney are destined to have hot, gay sex. She doesn't really understand my fascination though. She hasn't experienced the joy that is McShep fanfic.
Anyhow, what I'm trying to say is....THANKS! (for getting me hooked)

SGA!!! I actually started reading the fics before watching the show :) John and Rodney are so canon and it's so wonderful.... adds so much to the watching experience, doesn't it? They are all so awesome and I'm thisclose to writing an SGA fic... only I don't think I'm enough of a math person. I'm terrible at numbers and I hate research, so I don't think I'd have a good enough understanding of the characters to write them. Which is somewhat of a bummer because it would be so cool to get into them. The hair! Sooooo sexy. And Rodney is the most adorable geek. They are so having hot gay sex off screen *nods*

I'm behind on HoP.... I've read so much more, I'll have to update soon :)

Well, if ever you write a SGA fic, I'm sure it'll be great. Just write about the Hair and that's half the battle won!

I was such a mstie... I have about 12 eppies on tape, including the classic Manos: The Hands of Fate and Rocket Attack USA. Oh, and Mitchell!! Mitchell is one of my all time favorites. And a couple of the Gamaras... so much fun. That show rocks my socks. For a while they were replaying them on Sci-Fi, but even that stopped :(

Skoos, oh my god. I like, found, the absolute perfect song for- okay. I'm jumping forward.

Y'know Beyond Reproach? Of course you do; it's like, one of your favs, anyway, have you seen The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants? If you have, than you've heard this song, if not, than you might not have.

It's called Black Roses Red, and it's like, the freaking theme song to BR. It's just, perfect, in a Lance-point-of-view. Go download it. It's perfect for them. It's by Alana Grace.

(I know this is a completely geeky moment, because, seriously, it just is, but the song just struck me as Beyond Reproach-y, and I felt you'd like to know, lol.)

Happy hols to you too, dear.

Hee! I've read that story about a thousand times after Skoosie rec'd it to me. I'm very much going to have to go in search for that song! I know you didn't mean this for me, exactly, but just wanted to thank you for the heads up! *scurries off to find song*

Lol, no problem. Oh, I totally fangirl that story- it's like, one of the best popslash AU's out there. The song is really good too.

And I got it. It's very beautiful and I see how it fits!

I'm generally a JC/Chris girl myself, but I agree, Beyond Reproach is one of the best AUs.

I'm totally reading it later tonight when I'm at work. Have it saved onto my palm pilot already. *snort* That and Best Laid Plans because it's been a while since I read that. Maybe some From the Path and undone, too.

Man, it's been a while since I read some popslash, actually! And I'm in an AU mood now, too.

Yeah, I was like 'OOO!' when I heard it.

BR's got some of my fav ships in it. Honestly, I'm not that big of a JC/Chris fan, but then, I read 'em all.

OOOO!! I have seen The Sisterhood, but I don't remember the song... I must go find it! *sigh* This calls for a reread of BR. *loves it beyond all else*

You are awesome

*grins* Thank you.

The song is at the part where Lena jumps in the water with Kostos after standing there crying about how she can't open herself up.

*BR makes heart happy* I totally heart Lily and BR.

Hey. I just wanted to tell you, Aaron Lohr (Mush from Newsies) has a small but singing role in the movie Rent!! I went with friends last night and when I saw him, I leaned over to MD and said "Oh my god, it's a Mighty Duck!!" (because that's where I know him from best, and it's a reference MD would have gotten) but in my head, I soooo thought of you and Newsies at the time. :)

MUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is so cool!! I am torn between wanting and not wanting to see Rent. I hear it is very sad, and I'm not much of a sad movie lover.

I KNOW! I got so excited to see him.

It's an awesome movie, it really is. All the singing and dancing...though, yes, it does have it's sad parts. But, for me, the singing/dancing/not sad parts make up for it.

I think maybe I'll rent it (hee) instead of seeing it in the theater, just in case it's way too sad for me :( But MUSH!!! *dances*
